We had a short break at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views are amazing and you are greeted by warm and friendly staff. The restaurant is great with a good menu and the views from the outside bar are quite spectacular. We had an inside room which was lovely and cosy. The rooms are warm and welcoming. Every detail is thought of. We loved using the pool and jacuzzi which were fabulous. We will definitely be returning.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by friendly and attentive staff. We had coffee on the terrace in the beautiful sunshine with stunning views. After some hours in the spa we had a cream tea. Very delicious and generous portions of clotted cream. The evening meal was incredible, some lovely choices on the menu, amazing flavours and so beautifully presented. The rooms were very comfortable and again such beautiful views. I would be most happy to return for another stay. A big thank you to all the staff for our lovely stay.

Though I was staying elsewhere, the spa at the hotel was a great experience. They had an "ocean waves" treatment that was a combination between an exfoliation and a massage. They use a soft exfoliant with a shea butter base and very small pieces of walnut shells, and this is followed by a relaxing oil massage. Altogether a blissful 90 minutes, with many beautiful places to explore in the nearby surrounding coastal area, walks by the sea, little villages, even a nice cinema in nearby Kingsbridge. Well worth the visit.

Only visited for a Spa Day wlth a cream tea, but everything about the hotel, the spa and the staff were great.
The spa itself is beautifully presented, well
Looked after with everything you need in a spa.
The terrace with the views across to Hope Cove is stunning.

Two nights here. Hotel staff were pitch-perfect. Breakfast was up there with the best. Evening meal was delicious. Well done, team Thurlestone. Looking forward to next time. Nothing is totally perfect……pillows were a bit too firm for us.

If you are looking for a luxury hotel experience on the popular and scenic Devon coast, look no further. We had a balcony room with a sea view - it had modern decor, a comfortable bed and best of all, a 'rain shower'!
We had a scrumptious breakfast and strolled down the nearby beach, before returning to the hotel to work up an appetite for a boozy cream tea with a game of tennis on the courts! Finish the day off with a fantastic spa experience and an indulgent dinner in the restaurant. What more could you ask for ☺️
