My only regret is that we only got to spend one night at this wonderful gem of a B and B nestled among lush green fields and stunning views. We broke a stressful journey from London to Glasgow with a stay here and it was the perfect place to unwind. Christine and Paul are fantastic hosts. Our room was just lovely, cosy, large, great views and a little nook with a sofa to relax in. Everybody raves about Paul's rarebit- but do believe the hype- it's delicious!

My wife and I had an overnight stop in Over Kellet while travelling home from Cornwall. ||After the stresses of the M6/M8 this is a beautiful village in a peaceful location. Nice walks round about and there is beautiful canal walk just a few hundred yards from this accommodation.||Our room had comfortable bed with a small sitting area. En suite shower room.||Our hosts were very kind and let us use our room despite arriving 2 hours before checkin. ||After a great sleep our breakfast was excellent,||I would love to return in future and have no hesitation in recommending the Tithe Barn.

Great hosts. Made us feel very welcome. Garden room was comfortable and immaculate. Paul’s breakfasts are amazing. We had the full English and the rarebit wow. |When in the area we will definitely return.

I have been working in the area and been staying here now for 8 weeks. The place is amazing, Paul and Christine are really nice people they offer a wonderful service too all guests, the rooms are very clean and tidy, the food is excellent and for-fills everybody's needs. if anybody is in the area and needs a place to stay this is the place. I will be going back next week to carry on my work. the local pub is only a 10 minute walk for your evening meals etc.

What a beautiful place! ||I spent two nights here in the twin room with two twin beds right off the main entrances of the home. My daughter has been at Capernwray Hall for 6 months and I was staying close by while she wrapped up school. This beautiful B&B is hosted by Paul and Christine and their lovely dog Sadie. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and offered coffee and tea and snacks. The location is quite good as it’s on the edge of OverKellet. A walk up to Eagles Head Pub for dinner was only about 5 minutes. Careful on the roads though, there’s no shoulder and it’s quite dark. Less than 10 minutes to Carnforth. ||The breakfast was divine. I had Pauls Rarebit both mornings and it was a great dish. Also fresh fruit and cereals and juices and coffee and tea. The hospitality is exceptional. Paul has lots of great pointers to enjoy Carnforth and directed us to the Historical Museum at the Carnforth station where the movie A Brief Encounter was filmed in the 1940s. It’s an excellent exhibit and was well worth the walk through. ||Thank you Paul and Christine for being lovely hosts and opening your home. The food and hospitality were wonderful. A special thank you to Paul for his lift to the train station. That was an extra generous help to us. ||I highly recommend Tithe Barn B&B.

We were looking for somewhere close to Capernwray for a weekend break and did our research and booked it. It is precisely how it is in the photo’s and Paul and Christine are lovely and hospitable hosts. |We were warm, comfortable and everything was clean and tidy as it should be. The Barn is beautifully and sympathetically converted and the view is most impressive. |Paul does a cracking Breakfast and is a very affable Gent. And as for produce the Egg producers are wandering around the Garden !|The one thing that really struck us was the quiet in the night, nothing, no road noise or light outside. Just the odd Owl to lull us off to sleep. |Great place, an absolute Gem and we are going back again.

Paul and Christine were so lovely, even invited us to spend time with them and their friends and gave us excellent advice about the area. Baxter and Sadie were a lovely morning greeting! Would definitely stay again, the location is perfect for Capernwray

Christine and Paul run this lovely B&B, made us feel very welcomed. The room was great, to a very good standard, excellent shower and bed. Wi-Fi is available and a very good Pub is just 2 min. walk away. Absolutely recommend.
