Six of us had such a fun evening recently, thoroughly enjoying our varied dinner, followed by electronic darts - what a great idea!
The ribs are immense..... I always order them, never been disappointed yet. Two people had (and loved) The Boneyard - definitely for the hungry!!
So happy they had 0% fizz to buy too..... so many restaurants don't, so well done TJ's.
Our young waitress did her best, but I appreciate how difficult it is to have everyone trained to the same level. What is great, is that all staff are approachable - one of our guests didn't want the sauce on her dinner, so after a request, the sauce was served in a small bowl on the side.
Can't wait to come back. Thank you.

We walked in and tried to sit outside. But the staff said tables were not cleaned, so we had to sit inside. When our appetiser arrived, she forgot to give us cutlery or napkins. When they served us the main, they still haven't brought us the cutlery, which i had to ask for it. The food was great, very nice, fresh, delicious, place was good, but they had to work on staff she looked like she doesn't want to be there

I have eaten from TJs Bar & Grill a few times and never had an issue with the food before. However my meal tonight wasn’t good and sadly had to throw it away. I ordered the pulled chicken burrito. The burrito was 95% boiled rice, the rice was over cooked with no seasoning. There was hardly any chicken and it was extremely dry. Thankfully I had ordered a side of their chicken wings, which are great. Unsure what happened to the burrito tonight as usually their food is good, but it was one of the worst burritos I have ever had.

food was freezing cold when it came out, and my parents chicken was raw. food took over an hour to come out when we were the only ones there (clearly for a reason) and the service was terrible. the worker that was in there seemed so annoyed to be serving us, and overall just not an enjoyable experience, wont be going again.

I’m not normally one to complain but the service and food combined were so bad it’s difficult not to say anything. This was our first visit to TJ’s bar and grill and we were excited to try a new restaurant. Apon arrival, we noticed that the floors were sticky and i genuinely had to peel my shoes off at one point, the staff were quiet and quite dismissive instantly and the place was completely empty which should’ve been the first clues. We ordered two canned drinks, both were completely flat and were placed inside the glass touching the ice which we thought was quite unhygienic. We ordered a caesar salad, spicy cajun chicken pasta, chicken gyozas and skin on fries totalling roughly £45 including the drinks. As soon as the food arrived to the table we commented on the bad presentation as it was sloppy and quite frankly not appealing at all. Both mains were soggy, bland and just all round disgusting. I struggled to eat two bites before feeling ill. The sides were okay and we were happy to pay for them. We each managed to eat a couple bites before “complaining”, as i said i’m not one to write a bad review as i’ve worked in hospitality before and some things are just out of your hands but we just weren’t happy paying for this at all. I let one of the staff members know and asked nicely if we could pay for the drinks and sides and remove the mains from the bill. The staff were just unnecessarily rude as we approached the situation calmly and politely. We were told “we’d already ordered and ate some of the food” and weren’t apologised to or offered another solution at all - they made it seem that it was our problem. After some back and forth we were able to pay for just the sides and the drinks - even that I wasn’t particularly happy with after their response and the whole experience. We were told “it would only happen this once” I can assure you it won’t happen again - you couldn’t pay me to return and spend any more of my money there. If I could put zero stars I would. I’ve seen the restaurants responses on here so I am already expecting a rude and defensive response. If the situation was dealt with kindly I would not feel the need to write this. Don’t waste your time or money on this place.

Delicious food and extremely filling, however as mentioned in other reviews the staff seemed to really not want to be there and weren't as friendly or conversational as you might expect, not bad though! The presentation of the food was quite lackluster too as sauces were given in plastic pots and the whole meal was in a red stationery tray or something? A bit weird and seemed like maybe something you could expect from a takeaway rather than a >£10 meal. The cutlery was at least normal and a nice knife was given too.

1st time at Tj’s and I cannot wait to return! So much on the menu great choices and well as drink good selection and deserts too! Staff are friendly, food taste great good pricing recommend to anyone who’s thinking to going!
