Did not use a room so no idea. We had as a group a range of dishes, and everyone was very happy with what they had. Waitress was very good, friendly and efficient. Will return, many times hopefully.

A true gem in a local community.

Everyone, knows everyone. Expect loud, comfortable, hearty atmosphere as this is a centre of community location.

Has won multiple awards.over the years for its quality of roasts and its broad cider selection.

Came with a group of 14 (pre booked) and not a complaint to be had.

Multiple options of food on the menu. Personally I had the seafood basket which was less than £11!

In summary, a great, robust, center of the community pub with a rich history.

Brave Devon's one lane, two-way roads to arrive at the beating heart of a close-knit community in an adorable, historic town. The tavern has incredible history, cozy nooks, friendly patrons, and delicious hearty meals. The rooms are comfortable, and the windows look out on sheep pastures and rolling hills. You'll be hard-pressed to find a spot quite this idyllic.
