A lovely place to go for working out, swimming or running. The staff know me and my family and are always very welcoming whenever we come.

The pools are amazing! The small pool is nice for families to play or have races The larger pool is good for training especially around the time of galas.

The gym facilities are so helpful for training. The track is huge and perfect for long distance races and the women only part is great as it gives everyone a comfortable space to work out.

I would 100% recommend this gym x

Decent sized gym can get busy on an evening.Changing rooms are clean and pools are a nice size but I do feel the place could do with updating feels a little bit old. Staff are friendly as well

It's ok. Too expensive for what it is I'd say. The locker room really really lets the place down. It hasn't been updated for as long as I can remember. I try to take my son (age 8) but the classes aren't great. The size of the building is great with plenty of machines to use (even when busy)..but it's just ok. Nothing special, but not amazing.

Been a member for over a year and still trying to see the value for money 🤔?

For £55 a month: you get terrible service, a bang average unclean gym, judgy looks and near injury.

The gym itself is massive - spanning into a very secluded women's only gym, 2 pools, squash court and glass classrooms - I guess that's one of the gyms selling points on the side of their building.

You would think with the size of the gym there would be acceptable air conditioning keeping the place cool in the hotter days - but no. The gym is pretty much a greenhouse and I personally struggle to get through a workout without feeling as though I'm about to pass out which leaves me leaving the workout feeling worse than when i started.

I've received stares from both staff and members when wearing gym appropriate clothing for the temp which isn't exactly the most confidence boosting situation - god forbid a girl wears shorts.

From a hygiene perspective:
- I have had 2 instances in the past week where my water bottle is getting USED gum on the bottom of it - as people are putting it in the cup holders instead of the bin. This is disgusting and shows staff are not properly checking machines.
- Women's changing rooms are not up to 100% sanitary either.

Most of the gym equipment is ok - for what you pay you expect better quality stuff. Some treadmills move a lot when you run, some machines are clunky and feel awful - but I have had instances of near injury on some aswell which i have addressed to headoffice but surprisly no one has gotten back to me.

As mentioned above, emailed head office and all I've heard is the won't allow me to cancel my membership until August, but they haven't replied in over 4 days with my listed problems.

Terrible customer service - shocking gym, never stepping foot in there again.

I went for a free day pass but didn’t even train just walked off. The free weights area was very dark, and everything’s going rusty(considering it’s quite a steep-priced gym) It’s definitely not worth the price unless the pool is something extraordinary as I didn’t try.

NOT RECOMMENCE! RUN! Our experience with this gym has been more than disappointing. Throughout the year, the front desk has repeatedly given us incorrect information, leading to negative outcomes. The most recent incident took the cake: we wanted to cancel our membership in December to avoid being charged for January. The front desk told us, “You can’t cancel in advance; you have to wait until January.” Come January, they changed their tune: “Oh no, sorry, there’s no proof you tried to cancel. It’s a one-month notice, so you’ll have to pay for an extra month.”

This is completely unacceptable—bordering on theft! To make matters worse, they had already added an extra £6 to the membership fee earlier last year without any explanation.

Train your staff better and stop exploiting your customers. DON’T GO THERE.

They charged me after freezing my account. This gym is not a good place—it’s unprofessional and insecure. Do not go there, and never give them your bank details. It’s the worst place I’ve ever been to.
