Stayed Monday-Friday, excellent area to stay next to the city shops, lovely spacious room and bathroom, great staff, house keeping cleans everyday around 3pm and restocks fridge and continental breakfast which to me was fab(fruit, croissant, brioche, juice, oats, breakfast biscuits) as well as the tea station which had plenty coffee and decaf range and tea bags. Wardrobe with plenty space and hangers, I personally keep everything in my case so don't need to use wardrobe but had plenty of drawers around too which again didn't use but others may like to when staying longer and with people. New mattress is comfy and one of the best I've slept on, tv is a decent size with Sky Box and dvd player. The bathroom had a bath and no shower, but other rooms have showers. This wasn't a big issue as still got by and managed. Heating very powerful and doesn't need to be on longer then 5 minutes. Nice view from skylight window, breakfast was very nice.
Tonight's last night here and can hear the fun atmosphere of the bar across the road live band but not to loud, nice to have live acts as background noise.

Cant wait to return in future will definitely recommend it.

Great place to stop, very central in the town. It was fantastic to be able to park our car right outside for free and in our room there was a great continental breakfast but we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast for just £6.50 each. I just couldn't cope with the sloping roof in our room and I'm not very tall.

Ideal location close to town centre. Parking outside. Room was very clean and the bed comfy. Continental breakfast included or cooked available for additional charge. Great value.

Was a bit of a trial finding the place but when we did the owner was on the premises. My cousin and wife had already checked in. The surrounding area was quite industrial but free carparking with a supplied voucher was a bonus. Room and bed were fine. Everything included. A help yourself breakfast provided for the next day. Location was excellent to walk to town and canal.

Arrived before check in at 4,was able to park the car in the car park & had a walk around the town, popped into the sound bar opposite for a drink. Mick the owner was easily contactable by phone, and let us know when we were able to check in. We had room 7, large room 1 double bed and 1 single bed. Large bathroom with shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, hairdryer. Complimentary coffee, tea, biscuits & continental breakfast included in price. Porridge, croissants, jams, butter, cheese, orange juice. The room was perfect for us, hard or soft pillows to choose from which was something you don't get very often! Ideally situated and would definitely stay here again.

Great location rooms a little small & in need of furniture just moving around slightly wasn't impressed with some 1 smoking cannabis in there room it stunk even tho it's a non smoking apartments

When we were looking for somewhere to stay in Skipton the Townhouse jumped out at us because it was so close to the town centre. There is free on site parking which was a bonus as it allowed us to leave our car outside the hotel as we arrived too early to check in and we went off to explore the town. When we came back Mick the host welcomed us and showed us to our ground floor room which had everything we needed, double bed, small wardrobe, kettle, fridge, tv with sky and an en-suite bathroom with a corner shower. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable although it did squeak when we turned over ( we did mention this to the owner who said he would check it out) |We had initially booked a continental breakfast but decided to pay the extra for a cooked breakfast and we were not disappointed it was delicious. we had eggs, beans, mushrooms, bacon, sausage, toast and tea and coffee, cereals were also available the food was well presented and was piping hot. |We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
