Such a stylish and comfortable B & B in a very nice quiet part of the city. Our room was lovely, lots of artwork and stylish touches, comfy bed and lots of space. The breakfasts are such fun! A sort of picnic hamper, with lots of choice, delivered (with no intrusion) to your door each morning. I love this place, the best B&B in Exeter I think, we will definitely choose to stay here again.

Our stay was lovely! Welcoming, comfortable and clean. Tim was so gracious at check in. Delicious breakfast, yoghurt pot and crumpets were grand. Easy walk to high street and lovely dinner at Harry’s, get the cheese soufflé! We enjoyed our stay and would come back!!

Lovely place, centrally located. The staff, Tim, was very welcoming and helpful. Very well presented, comfortable and clean room. I would definitely stay here again as it was very convenient, close to the city centre and Exeter Central station. Excellent.

This hotel was chosen as being close to rail links and to the city. We arrived early because bad weather prevented our planned activity. The manager was helpful and accommodating and, by luck, our room was ready, so we checked in. We tried to explore a bit of Exeter, but the rain was very determined; in the end we had a picnic supper in our room - which was easy because the room had a table and chairs. Next morning, we were able to leave our bags until a bit before check-in reopened, so we were able to do our exploring unencumbered. If we come back to Exeter, I know where we'll be staying!

It’s the small things that show they care. Not many places provide lavender pillow sleep spray to aid a restful night on your bedside table, classical music playing softly on the radio as you enter and the bedside light warmly glowing a welcome. Complimentary real coffee bags were an extra boon for me (I hate instant) 4 kinds of teabags, a carafe for water and two glasses, hairdryer, a fan in case of a heatwave, a shower cap that included an extra hair band to actually tie up your hair first (not seen that before), nice shower gels and soaps plus really clean linen and a comfy bed. We had a very spacious room and a small but ergonomically designed en suite shower room. A really good hotel, privately owned by great people. I’ll be back.

Perfect spot on leafy quiet road, very comfortable & clean stay, fabulous customer service, so helpful with parking, directions and knowledge of the city. Highly recommend and lovely stay in Exeter visiting the cathedral, crockets cocktail bar, Harry’s restaurant and a gig at the Phoenix.
