Great little hotel with friendly staff and comfy rooms. |The rooms were quiet and comfortable. The shower wasn’t massively powerful but it was nice and hot. Nice big cosy towels too. The beds were comfy (even the kids beds) and we all slept very well!

We stopped at this hotel whilst working nearby. ||From the outside the hotel is one of the older style Travelodges. ||We had a friendly checkin experience, and once inside it was obvious that this hotel had recently been refurbished., and the rooms looked good with nice bathrooms and everything was clean.||There is an Aldi across the road which is ideal to grab a bite to eat, or snacks for midnight.||Overall we had a lovely stay and couldn’t fault anything about this hotel for the price we paid it was great.

Staying for work over the festive period, check in was smooth and rooms were nice and clean, had a few issues with the wifi however Nicola on reception helped me sort it out. Nice friendly staff and nice newly refurbished hotel. Will definitely be staying again when I’m in the area.

Overall quite a nicely located Travelodge with Merry Hill and Brierley Hill Town centre walking distance. Close to Landmark and Waterfront which maybe a bit underrated but does offer a calm walk/stroll and restaurants. Room was okay, this place has been recently refurbrished. Not the most posh Travelodge but decent enough for a short stay

Great location, clean, quiet and very comfortable room. Very friendly staff, especially Nicola, duty manageress, who went out of her way to help me when I needed some assistance. Great job; well done, Nicola. Thank you so very much; you really did make a difference!

Got given room 1, right next to the security door that EVERYONE has pass through to get in or out. Inevitably it was being opened (which activates a beep), then slamming itself shut, this was going on until roughly 1am…..which wasn’t too bad because the guy above decided he was going to do laps of his room until 3am when i eventually had to go and ask to be moved.|It was then I was told she wasn’t sure why the previous person had put me room because it’s only used when they’re fully booked, which they weren’t.||The room was also clearly for disabled people. I’m 6ft but that toilet must have been 3ft off the ground, I’ve never seen anything like it, My toes barely reached the ground.|The bath was horrible and nonslip mat kept flapping up and revealing all the filth that was underneath. The gap under the main door was so big you could have placed a solar panel my side and got enough light through to charge a Tesla. |The bed was rock hard and actually hurt my ribs when lying on my side.|The TVs signal was pants and there was vent (hole) in the wall that must have just had a thin grate on the outside because every time there was a gust of wind I got a face full of 2 degrees air.|It stated when booking this it was a new design…..if this is the new design then please go back to old one!|That being said, the lady on reception at 3am was very apologetic and instantly moved me into another room which was immensely better. Unfortunately the damage had already been done and after getting into bed at 10pm in order to get up early and go to work, I had a grand total of 45 minutes sleep and was only able to carry out one of my 4 jobs for the day due to safety issues (ie I work at height and it’s too dangerous to do so without having slept).||I’m not saying I won’t be staying in a travelodge again, I definitely will be. I stay in either a travelodge, premier inn or something similar about 4-8 times per month…..I’ll just be making it a last resort option in future and definitely won’t be staying at this specific one!

Lovely spacious rooms, quietly situated with friendly, cheerful staff. Beautifully clean bed linen with a plethora of pillows. Plenty of parking and local restaurants and shops accessible in the vicinity . We would definitely stay here again.
