We stayed at the Birmingham Maypole For four nights in an adapted room as I am a wheelchair user overall there Was plenty of room to get around my only Complaint would be that the toilet was far too low in the wet room. The handrails were not textured so it is very dangerous and slippery and the shower seat was very small, but the staff were very welcoming, but I’m not sure that the wet room reached current disability standards. Also the floor was not textured so very very slippery when wet.

A perfect stay - the room excellent, perfectly clean, fresh, bathroom brilliant. The welcome was excellent and charming. The parking was behind the hotel the bays a little tight for a larger car but free. Breakfast not taken but looked excellent. A real full english. Is on a very busy roundabout but amazingly hardly any noise.

Room was a good size;loads of space and double bed. Lovely hot shower for a morning fresh( check photos)!!!Room was relatively clean with a few minor discrepancies but nothing major to write about!!! Staff was very accommodating _male reception staff and female at maypole (Travelodge). Breakfast was hot,presented very well and so inviting and vegan sausages- excellent!!!Great nites sleep,great staff and great location,Recommended- KG1 production ……

Disappointing Experience at Our Recent Hotel Stay||||I would like to express my dissatisfaction regarding our recent stay at the hotel. Firstly, our reservation was for a king-sized bed; however, the front desk staff informed us that the largest available bed was a queen, which was misleading. Additionally, we found the supposed king bed to be smaller than expected.||||Furthermore, the main window in our room had a broken latch, allowing cold air and road noise to enter, significantly impacting our comfort. The television was also malfunctioning, displaying a prominent black line down the right side, rendering it unusable.||||Moreover, the design of the shower and bathtub posed safety concerns, making it difficult and hazardous to enter and exit. Lastly, we were provided with only two pillows, which were not particularly comfortable.||||Overall, our experience was marked by frustration and disappointment, and I felt compelled to share this feedback.

I stayed here with work for three nights. The staff are Friendly. Breakfast was nice with a good selection. HOWEVER…… if you have a room at the front of the premises expect to be woken up at 5am very morning by traffic noise. The rooms at the back are quieter.

Staff all helpful and friendly.|||| Hotel as you would expect for a Travelodge but the only downside was being given a family room directly in front of a big busy roundabout that meant a lot of traffic noise into the night and early in the morning. Not conducive to a good night's sleep unless you have Earplugs

Staff are very welcoming and accommodating to your needs especially reception staff and breakfast crew!!! Cleaning staff working hard to get all the rooms cleaned and fresh…Room are a great size for the price and very comfortable and spacious!!!Shower was lovely and hot !!! Good location for amenities and supermarkets right next to the hotel-perfect _kg1production.

The only good thing was the customer service. In house pizzeria and the pizza was disgusting and cooked breakfast I had to leave mid eating it was awful. Rooms were dirty and I couldn't wait to leave.
