The room was immaculately clean, the staff were amazingly helpful at all times. Helping open doors when I had my hands full of cases and clothes... To ensuring I had booked the car in so I didn't get fined. Couldn't fault the place for anything, yes it's an old building and a bit tired in places, but I knew that because most Travelodge buildings are the same and as I always say, you get what you pay for and this was very reasonably priced.

Hadn't stayed in this hotel for about 6 years so was interested in seeing how or if it had changed in that time... had a friendly greeting by the lady on. Check in and was put on the 1st floor to my surprise the rooms were exactly the same as 6 years ago and they were run down then. Only one light by the door and then some tiny lights on the wall which some didn't work meant the room was dark and dingy and didn't have a welcoming vibe. Bathroom wasn't much better bathroom was well worn and mirror was delaminating around the edges. Slept OK but unless it's very cheap I don't think stay here again unless it gets refurbished

Staff are very nice and welcoming. Young lady on reception met us with a big smile and a warm welcome. We asked for a quiet room, which she gave us. The Travelodge itself needs some work, looking old and worn out. Our room smelled a bit damp, especially the bathroom. The TV kept losing reception, which was annoying. Good location next to the Blyth Moto services where there is an M&S, Burger king, WHSmith and Greggs.

It's an older one but comfortable, staff are nice. No issues with cleanliness or water pressure and usually great value

Although in a busy area this hotel was very peaceful. The room was immaculate and the bed very comfortable. Jenny the Manager went above and beyond her duty.

Did not sleep, as the person next to me left the bathroom light on leaving the expel air fan on which was noisy as anything, I laid in bed half asleep no way of contacting reception as they have no phone, was so tired I just tried to sleep through it. Eventually at 0700hrs they switched it off and I went to sleep for an hour.
