It’s a dated Travelodge and it’s not great. I’m unsure if our room had even been cleaned because we found a gone off pint of milk on the window ledge and a half eaten bag of cookies on the wardrobe shelves, and after walking in and out of the bathroom the soles of our feet were filthy, and there’s all yellow crusty stuff around the toilet base. Beds looked clean enough at least. ||There’s no air con so the room was unbearably hot, a fan is provided but it wasn’t very powerful and sort of just blew hot air lightly around the room. ||On the plus side the shower is fairly good, great water pressure, and the bloke on reception was really polite & helpful, he’s the sole reason I rated this place a two star and not a one.

Stopped to escape the heat (33 degrees) and have a rest without an advanced booking. ||Person passing the front desk (not sure he was the receptionist) said they were short on cleaners so may have to wait, came back after 10 minutes saying room was ready. ||We were given Room 130: a room found to not be fit for habitation. I say this because it stunk of damp and mould. Particularly notable when the window was shut. ||We shut the window to reduce the ingress of heat and the stench kicked in.||Awaken by scratchy throats and feeling congested. ||We packed up and left asap.||The other issues were: ||1. No mattress protector on the double bed, just a flat sheet over the mattress. We had to improvise with bedding from the single bed.||2. No hand soap in dispenser, just a mug with a bright green liquid in it by the side.||3. Body wash dispenser over the bath was dirty, fell apart to touch.||I would have liked the opportunity to complain immediately however there is no mechanism to do so beyond the operation team on site who clearly have significant issues which include: health and safety duties and managing hygiene requirements.||Totally disappointed shocked and appalled. Biological hazard v Extreme heat : Extreme heat won!!

Booked a room for myself and my teenage daughter. The first room we were allocated had no second bed and the bathroom needed some tlc. The second room we were allocated again had no second bed set up. The third room had the wrong key, but after a 4th trip to reception we finally got a room. Slightly better than the other 2 rooms. There is no road noise just other noisy residents in corridor s. Shower water pressure low but adequate. Interesting that I checked on the website for the same night and it said fully booked and offered more expensive travel lodges locally but the lodge definitely was not full so obviously some marketing monkey business going on. Only 30 minutes free slow wifi. No Vodafone but three worked. Decent free WiFi in the moto building next to it.

It was very basic. Staff were lovely upon arrival. I had a shower in the morning and there was black mould in the shower gel dispenser which broke as I tried to use it. It was disgusting and put me off staying in the bathroom which hadn’t been cleaned that well. Very basic. No hairdryer. Just a bed really. Even the kettle was filthy. It says this has been redone recently but I cannot believe that for a second. Our window was very dirty and just very outdated to be honest. It was cheap but I have stayed in places around the same price and you get a much better offer.

Tun down, dated, dirty and noisy.||Rats outside the hotel. Shower had 1 setting... boil. Changed rooms and it just had low pressure. Rooms very dated and things broken. Very noisy can hear every door close or someone above cough. Ground floor windows are see through. Propeis in an awful state.

Not much to shout about here I'm afraid. Room was very worn and tired. No staff on reception for 5 minutes on arrival.

Right next to motorway services that had a good selection of food outlets and ample seating.

If you want to treat it simply as a base, it's serviceable but don't get excited.

I have stayed at the Eastbound Leigh Delamere Travelodge for many years whilst volunteering for Guide Dogs at the Badminton Horse Trials and I usually have at least one dog with me. I have never had any problems whilst staying there. I usually book a downstairs room for ease of late night and early morning visits outside for the dog/s.

Parked in the allotted spaces for the hotel but wary it’s a service station and you can’t miss the signs saying ‘Free parking for 2 hours only’, I asked at reception if I needed to validate my parking or place anything in my windscreen only to be told ‘there’s no need if you are in our parking spaces’. Two weeks later and have just received a £100.00 penalty notice from Moto services for staying over 2 hours!|BEWARE parking when staying here!!
