Very friendly staff. Jayne and Cara gave us a warm welcome. The room was nice and clean and they had given us a quiet room because we work nights and so we could sleep well during the day. The bath is small but the water's lovely and hot. It's next to a service area too. Nice.

I enjoyed my stay at this Travelodge. I was pleased to not hear a lot of road noise from the dual carriage way just in front - and it meant that I could get going quickly (northbound) in the morning. |The staff were very helpful and friendly (thank you Carrie and Jamie)|It was possible for my dog to stay with me in the room - I do not mind paying extra for my pet.|Personally, I enjoy a basic hotel - basic not being a negative! I rather prefer a good bed, a clean room and friendly service to lots of gadgets of which half of them are broken or filthy.|I will be back as I find it an excellent stop on the way to/from Harwich and the ferry to the Netherlands.

I’ve stayed in many Travelodge’s and this one was one of the quietest. I’m not sure if it’s the room I was allocated but it was excellent. I also got a late checkout and Cara on reception was wonderful in helping me with all my questions and all with a smile on her face. Would come again. Many thanks.

Room was very clean and spacious. The receptionist Carla was amazing! She was very accommodating and very friendly. Options for food just outside, along with a petrol station. Also very close to Colchester. |A nice little Travelodge to stay in.|R. O’C

Ideal location for a family wedding cannot compliment the staff enough checked if we needed transport to wedding venue, places to eat locally etc. Took an interest and asked how the wedding had been the next day. Hotel beginning to look a little tired and in need of updating. It was clean and tidy though

During my stay at this Hotel i found it yo be clean and I have a good sleep. Staff are friendly . I came here a few weeks ago and was impressed so this is now my goto hotel while I am in the area. Have no complaints and will stay here again in the future.

Travelodge Feering Colchester is fine with good sized rooms with baths and well located with service station facilities ouside with ample free parking. Brilliant staff. Jane and Kara went out of their way to be helpful. Made all the difference to our stay. Thanks

I have to say I really did enjoy my stay here - you don’t expect too much with Travelodge but this was more than just value for money, it was a genuinely pleasant experience.

Facilities, location and comfort are all very good, but what really stood out to me was the customer service.

Most staff were good but the person who really stood out to me was the young lad on the desk called Lachlan - he was such a pleasure to speak too and no concern was ever too much for him. A true asset to the company and a star for the future.
