An enjoyable overnight stay. Quiet, clean room, comfortable bed. The air con was not working and a free standing radiator convector heater was provided which warmed the room perfectly. Access to the prepaid internet was problematic for our two devices. A special thank you to Sophie in Reception for her patience and assistance in sorting out the problems.

I stayed at this travelodge for over a week during a very difficult time for me personally. The beds were comfy, rooms clean and facilities as expected. But what really stood out was the fantastic team on reception. They all build good rapport with guests and share a smile and a joke. My stay would have been a hard one without them. They are a credit to the business. A friendly face was always welcome for me at the time and in particular Helen was an absolute star. Thanks all at Travelodge East Grinstead

Fantastic place to stay but beware, if you don't want the noise from the pub opposite, then choose a quiet room. The only downside is that the bin for the room is small and will fill up fast if you are staying for more than 2 days.

Got into my room at 23.30 and the room was very cold so I put the heating on, but had to turn it off due to the very loud voice coming from the AC unit. Luckily I was in a twin room so I put the duvet from the single on top of my double duvet and this just about kept me warm through the night. In the morning after I had a shower I was looking for a hair dryer and couldn't find one (what hotel rooms don't include a hairdryer?) but whilst looking for one I saw there was a space saving heater on the floor. This leads me to think they knew there was an issue with the heating in the room but didn't tell me, if they had I could have just turned it on in the first place. No extractor fan in the toilet/shower room just sort of added to how rubbish the whole experience felt. Also was woken at 0620 by the whole hotel shaking and noises, possibly a very loud delivery lorry.

Warm & cosy, clean and so comfortable, central but quiet, excellent customer care. The lovely receptionist gave me a room on top floor & it felt like a peaceful haven between 2 work days. Doesn’t serve food but plenty of choice locally. Will return.

It was an unexpected stop at the travelodge. I'd just had major surgery on my feet and my lift couldn't stay.

The ro9m was clean and tidy and kitted out much as any decent room would be. Functional with no thrills.

The staff were the star of this attraction, on noticing that I was struggling, I was offered the closest room to reception and doors were held open for me as I went to my room.

This Travelodge is right next to a Wetherspoons like opposite one and as well as that it is next to a Museum. Service is very good as the receptionist was nice and the cleaners do a good job at cleaning. The rooms didn’t have a good view but that’s okay because the room itself is comfortable and it has a bath and shower.

We stayed at the Hotel and it was always very good and clean and the staff were very immaculate we have stayed in the Travelodge now about five time's and stayed in different rooms but everyone has been great and clean towels beds are comfortable and warm
