Staff are very helpful and happy, nothing too much trouble. |Nice size room, comfortable and clean, great price. Good location, with a decent sized car park . Was very quiet despite the close proximity to the A1. What more could you want! Will stay again.

Well the hotel room i stayed at was brilliant stayed there for couple nights, excellent customer service. The pillows and the bedsheet was fresh, i had food and drinks served which was good, i had a comfortable time at the hotel. I would definitely come back again, thanks a lot

Access is extremely dangerous from the A1, very short off ramp involving heavy braking in heavy traffic.. Exit onto the A1 is no better requiring huge acceleration into A! truck traffic. Not for the faint hearted.||Whole building tired - badly in need of investment or closure. Numerous faults, easily remedied with effort but no effort taken. Dripping overflows. Insufficient tea or coffee. Stained sheets. Uncomfortable bed. Pathetic flush on toilet. Useless shower in bath.||||

The room was uncluttered, tidy and very comfortable. What I noticed immediately, was how polite and diligent the manager was. The staff went out of their way to make my stay an enjoyable and pleasant experience. To be sincere, the Travelodge staff are a real asset to your organisation and it will be due to their efforts, that will encourage me to stay there again in the future.
I do not personally feel that the hotel is situated at a prime location, e.g. close proximity to conference centers, tourist sites, shops and public transport.
Some people may like the fact that there is a Starbuck nearby, however, despite having a pub close to the hotel, I would have preferred it, if travelodge provided their own meals.

It was dark when we arrived but couldn't find the Travelodge as it was behind Starbucks and car sales off A1 all because Gantry light was not on, so we kept driving up and A1 and back roads. Eventually got to our destination by chance sat nav going crazy. By that time we were so tired booked in to find booked for following week, we had to pay a premium to get it changed but the receptionist Ashleigh and Lisa were so patience in sorting it all out with the made our stay a good one. King-size bed plenty of hot water

The bed kingsize bed was terrible, hard as a board.
I stayed for 2 nights and both nights I had to get up and sit in one of the chairs and take painkillers to help me sleep.
My back and hips hurt from the bed being so hard.
There was long cob webs hanging from the ceiling.
The only good thing is they accept dogs.
If I was to stay again, I would take my blow up bed for some comfort.

Great and friendly staff, we got a family room and it was really well clean tidy, the receptionist helped me locate a restaurant for me and my children she was very helpful and smiled throught the talk, the room was really nice and cosy the receptionist helped us with any extra items we needed eg pillows and milks
