Stayed during the recent heatwave, the room was warm due no having no air con but still cooler than the temperature outside. I appreciated the small touches to help keep the hotel and guests cool. there was a fan left on in the room and the curtains where closed to keep the sun out, there was always ice cold fruit water on the bar that you were able to help yourself to at any time. I liked that the staff did what they could to help, which it did. They were all very lovely and attentive to anything you needed. The place was very clean. Definitely recommended

Front of house staff were really helpful. I felt unwell when we arrived and Barbara who checked us was kind, friendly and really helpful. |Other staff were similarly helpful and smiley - even going out of their way to find me a cardboard box (it's a long story!) |Hotel is conveniently located near Museum (well worth a visit). It's quiet so you sleep well and get woken up to birdsong! |Usual Travelodge breakfast, all well stocked and staff around if needed.

My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights. Great hotel, lovely and quiet, very clean. The beds were so comfortable, had good sleeps. We were so well looked after, Kelly was excellent, so friendly and helpful. Tracy, we only saw once, but she was so lovely. All the staff were so good. Wish we could have stayed longer. Maybe next time.

We had one night here prior to going to our holiday venue. It was very clean and efficiently run. All the staff were very helpful and friendly .Quiet area and also food was available and excellent quality.

Gets a 5 because we didn't really have any complaints, other than the bed being awful, but frankly I have never slept in a hotel bed that wasn't awful so probably not fair to dock them for it. Location really good for the town, 10-15 minute walk, hill isn't steep. You do have to pay for parking, £3.20 for 24 hours is not bad, but you can actually park on the street outside for free (no restrictions and the road is massive so not likely to get hit).

Great hotel!! All staff we met on our stay were amazing and helpful, the bar area was spotlessly clean with a great atmosphere, our room was very clean and quiet, with a super comfy bed!! Highly recommend!!

Not good very disappointed, at £132 a night I really would have expected better. My shower was blocked so I could only have a 35 second shower before it started over flowing, it was very noisy bar staff where inattentive and just walked out and left everyone in there drinking 15 minutes early. Door barely locked. At £132 per night you don’t get a breakfast or even access to the WiFi you have to pay extra if you want internet just really over priced for the quality, breakfast bar staff also did not know how to make an iced coffee

We stayed in room 101 😂, an accessible double room, and had my assistance dog with us . The reception was rarely manned but when it was staff we lovely. The food was really good, but the staff seemed to not understand how the offers work. We asked for two meal deals plus a side of nachos. At first she said we couldn't do that, then my fiancé asked if he could order them separately and she was still confused. They did sort it eventually but it was a fail in common sense.
They seemed to be short staffed and the poor guy doing breakfast was rushing around trying to do everything on his own (which he managed admirably).
