Firstly, it was so easy to book, especially since we book only a day in advance, we were still able to get a room for three nights. Secondly, we were given more than enough beds in our room, we had a decent amount of towels, we had a kettle which was great for coffee in the morning. Thirdly, it’s right next to the town centre, which makes going out during the day so easy. To top it off, the receptionist was amazing, she was so kind. Overall the experience was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Reception staff very nice and helpful. Room was adequate for 1 night . Would of liked a fridge and the charging points next to the bed to of worked. Noisy outside up until 22:00 roughly. Can’t fault price I paid on a Sunday night. Some areas of the room looked tired but bed comfortable so was fine for me. Would stay again as value for money and had a good sleep!

Had an excellent stay here in September, car park round the back with plenty of space. Greeted with a welcoming atmosphere and helpful reception staff. Our room was spacious and tidy, comfy bed with a nice bathroom will definitely be returning.

I have stayed here previously and the hotel is always clean and tidy. The staff are always lovely especially the house keeping team. The pillows are comfortable and the beds are always soft. It’s close to the town centre so I can use the buses since I don’t drive.

£140 for one night in Hemel. Goodness gracious! Who came up with the pricing model for these places? The Premier Inn is £184 a night if you don't book months in advance. This is a joke! You're a travelodge, not the Hilton.

Disappointing stay. Very noisy, can hear doors slamming all night from other residents. Fire alarm going off due to other guests smoking or doing something else in their rooms!||Is this place used as a hostel / halfway house for drug addicts? I did not feel safe here.

Stayed at this travel lodge at the weekend whilst visiting family and enjoyed my stay,||||Very clean room, smelt fresh too .||Staff are friendly . Also a plus with it being next to the town centre and plenty of local takeaway options.||I would definitely return.

I've no idea where there people giving high reviews stayed but it could not have been the same place as what we experienced. If you don't mind coke heads shouting in the hallways about their coke habit and one night stands loudly when you are trying to sleep then this is the place for you! As we entered the ceiling of the reception was literally falling down in chunks on the floor. There was nobody on reception for 15 minutes so we couldn't check in despite a 7 hour drive. The room we had smelled strongly of wet dog and during the night we heard a big crash which was a guy trying to park in the car park crashing into othe people's cars. We walked to a nearby restaurant and it felt very unsafe, when we returned to the travel lodge the afore mentioned coke heads tried to start conversations becoming very insistent when we moved to go in. The whole stay felt very unsafe and I didn't get a wink of sleep, please just avoid this one. There was a premier inn around the corner that looked infinitly better!
