Lyndsey on reception was absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful yet professional. We requested a low floor due to the heat and Lyndsey kindly obliged. The room was spacious, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The gentleman on reception in the evening was also very pleasant. Great location to the stadium.

Just back from a stay at the Huddersfield Travelodge whilst going to a concert at the John Smith Stadium. Can’t rate this hotel highly enough, and would definitely stay here again. Room was lovely and clean, had everything we needed and staff were great. It was in a perfect location, was comfortable, we had a great nights sleep and it had everything you needed near by, couldn’t ask for more. I regularly stay on Travelodge’s for work and this was by far the best I’ve stayed in. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely and clean appears to have been recently refurbished.
Comfy beds.
Great for an overnight stay.
It's grab a go breakfast in a box. Or there is a Costa Coffee place across the car park or a shop next door.
Coffee cups are too big for the coffee machine.

Kerry and the crew were awesome. Lovely welcome at reception snd there when I needed them. Lost my keycard (simply forgot to bring it with me, and they replaced immediately)

Rooms are lovely which have just been refurbished which are very clean. |Asked if needed room servicing most days which was great. |Staff (especially Gemma on reception) are absolutely lovely and very helpful. |Great location which is just outside of huddersfield.

Unfortunately we didn't get to book or stay here, but were 5 miles from the stadium. Huddersfield becomes gridlocked, taxis vanish and everything closes. Stranded at 1am, with 1% phone battery life, the lovely, friendly gent on reception was a lifesaver and assisted us as though we were his patrons. Our thanks and gratitude could not be bigger. A credit to the hotel.

Just wanted to say a massive thankyou to the staff, after I’d left my glasses in a room, the staff went above and beyond to wonderfully pack and post them back to me. Without them I wouldn’t be able to see. Thank you so much it’s very appreciated!

Great rooms always clean,comfy beds all staff are great reception staff are particularly good always friendly.
I know the shop is not linked to the hotel but what an added bonus not expensive and open till 9 pm for those extras.
