Great hotel the receptionist Michelle was so welcoming for us. I have really enjoyed my stay here so far. A very pleasant experience and it’s great to be so close to everything in Leicester and a really good shopping centre near us. If I was to visit Leicester I would definitely use this hotel again.

Booked for location and price for one night stay. Difficult to find. Entrance had no staff and not very welcoming. Locals had taken over foyer to keep warm. Had to shout to get attention to checkin which was pleasant and quick. We were allocated Room 220. Room was Spartan as expected but everything was OK and worked but dated and a very small window. Some tlc needed. Bed was too firm for our liking. Coffee was nice and strong. Check out was a breeze. It was an OK stay but not our cup of tea

So many small problems in the room that housekeeping and maintenance have missed. See photos of dirty and broken things.
No USB ports to charge devices.
Watered down juice (the attendant said 'diluted').
Decent breakfast spread for the money.
The staff were generally quite nice, friendly and helpful.
Window view of the main road. By double windows so reasonably quiet.
About as close to the centre of town as you can get.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Michelle was really warm, friendly and welcoming at the front desk, I would definitely reccomend staying here if u get the chance. Has all the amenities you need and it is right in the centre of Leicester which means almost everything is walking distance!

Bed comfy, rest of room needed refurbishment. Chairs & desk shabby, curtain hanging off curtain pole. Marks in bath from wear & tear though it was clean. Vending machines out of order. Didn't eat there so can't comment on breakfast. Friendly staff.||

This Travelodge is in an ideal location for visiting Leicester city centre. Reception is spacious and ok. Once you leave Reception to go up to the rooms, it is a bit shabby.... lots of food smells coming from people's rooms. We also got the feeling there were people "living" at this Travelodge..... it was less than homely. I would stay here again if I was stuck - but I much prefer the City Centre Premier Inn by the train station.

Staff were very helpful - especially Michelle and Ludmilla. Room was clean and tidy. Central location was very convenient for visiting relatives nearby. Heating in the room was a little tricky to control. It was a shame there were no USB charging sockets at the bedside tables.

The room was very clean, and the facilities were great - everything was exactly as it was stated on the website. The receptionists Michelle and Ludmilla were also very helpful. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and I will definitely be coming back.
