A basic hotel, clean and comfortable. Shower was similar to a caravan shower and the bathroom door would not shut. Very friendly and helpful staff, making you feel welcome. Easy parking and hassle free check in and out. Fair bit of traffic noise in room overnight. Nice pub next door.

Stayed at this hotel several times and always had a good nights sleep. |Reception are very helpful and friendly and the beds are large and comfy.|We had the added bonus of a large bath with an overhead shower so you have the choice.|Rooms are clean and spacious and if you run out of complimentary coffee/tea, milk etc, there are plenty more supplies you can help yourself too on the desk at reception.|We had room 19 at the front of the hotel and we couldn't fault it.|Many thanks again to the staff at Travelodge and we will always use this establishment when we are down visiting family that live close to here.

Decent no-frills basic hotel, newly renovated. We had a twin room (two single beds) which was comfortable enough for a quick overnight stop. Friendly and helpful reception. Spotlessly clean. Quiet on a Friday night, very little noise heard from other hotel guests or the main road. Minor niggles - no soap/hand wash/shower gel in the dispensers, no hand towels (just a bath towel each), the shower height is fixed at height that's too low for anyone under 5ft3, and there's no hook on the bathroom door.

Really smooth check-in, nice wide staircase to carry bags up, room comfortable and good state of decoration. Bathroom clean quiet location that’s easy to find.|Really good night, I cannot fault this hotel. Free parking what’s not to like about it?

I stayed here for a short time whilst house refurbished and the staff were very friendly always chatty and housekeeping staff always made sure rooms bedding and towels were given and went above and beyond for me. ||I had a large room on the ground floor and with free parking what more do you want. ||Thank you

The location was good for my particular requirements but a long way from city centre although bus services are good.
However the room was cold. It was a freezing cold day and the only room heating was a small panel heater. Having booked in advance you would have thought some member of staff would at least have switched the electric heater on! Even 15degrees would have been something!
Also hot water was Luke warm so no chance of a hot bath or shower to warm up.
Altogether very poor.

I spent a night here last week and received a very warm welcome from Sarah on arrival. She was also very helpful with information. As a fellow Travelodge employee I was very pleased. If I ever go to Leicester again I’ll certainly be staying there again
