We had excellent service from start to finish from ROCH. Nothing was too much trouble and in particular he was able to give us a couple of quiet rooms. We have stayed here many times before but the service from ROCH made our stay fantastic and the best stay we have had to date. Presume from the way he conducted himself he was the manager. ROCH had an excellent manner always smiling. Many thanks

Booked a Double Room and was given a disabled room because "I checked-in late (10.45pm) and that's all they've got available" - went online to check and they've still got rooms available to book tonight. I have been travelling for work for a couple of years now and using Travelodge all over the country, this is a first! I've always been upgraded if they haven't got the room I BOOKED available, definitely not downgraded like here ?

Easily found on london road. Roughly 15 mins away by foot from Bromley south train station. Clean room with tea and coffee facilities in the room. Comfortable bed. Plenty of sockets and USB ports for electrical devices. Good menu. Warm and friendly staff. Elda was professional and ready to make my stay a great experience. I'd recommend this Travel Lodge for a more reasonable priced stay when visiting London.

Located not far from the centre of Bromley with secured underground parking which is NCP. I think parking is charged at £11 per night. Short walk to bars and restaurants. The guy who checked us in was very pleasant and the room was what you would expect from a Travelodge, basic but it was clean. The only downside was that the room was facing London Road and the traffic noise from outside was very loud, could be doing with better glazing. I’d opt for a room facing inward next time

The location was great and room was standard and suited the basic needs.

Price was acceptable but for short notice stays can feel a bit pricey for £113 a night.

Even with a check out time of noon bare in mind the cleaning staff will bang on your door over and over again from 10:50 so they can hurry up their round for their own peace of mind. Even when told check out is noon they don't care. Rude cleaning staff but very pleasant front desk folks!

Good standard of accommodation for a quick overnight stop. Hot shower, good pressure. Self service breakfast with good coffee and attentive service.

I recently stayed at the Bromley Travelodge and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.

From the moment I arrived, the staff seemed unapproachable and unable to crack a smile. Asking for something as basic as access to a toilet roll felt like a monumental task. The lack of warmth and friendliness made my stay uncomfortable right from the start.

To make matters worse, one morning, a cleaner walked into my room while I was sleeping, despite having the "Do Not Disturb" sign clearly displayed on the door. This invasion of privacy was shocking and left me feeling uneasy.

I also noticed that I only had three pillows in my room—where did the fourth one go? It seemed like such a small detail, but it added to my overall dissatisfaction.

Meal times were unclear, and I found myself confused about the process when my breakfast and main meal were included with my stay. Additionally, there was rarely anyone at the reception or bar area when I needed assistance, which only added to my frustration and if I dared to ring the bell, the evil looks I would receive upon someone responding was simply off putting.

Speaking of the bar, the bartender didn’t seem to know any of the drinks on the menu. When I asked for a specific bottle of Prosecco, he wanted to give me the most expensive option instead of making an effort to find what I actually requested. This resulted in me being charged more than necessary. When I asked if I could speak to someone in charge, he casually informed me that he was in charge—how disappointing!

I had planned to stay for a longer period of time but ended up leaving earlier than anticipated. The atmosphere of the hotel contributed to feelings of depression and hopelessness—I genuinely wanted to like it, especially since it was closer to home but quickly returned to a previous hotel further away where the staff were more welcoming.

There were no clear instructions on how to get my room cleaned, and the absence of air conditioning made my stay even more uncomfortable. The fan provided barely reached me from the bed, and there were no accessible plug sockets nearby just usb ports.

Overall, my experience at Bromley Travelodge was disappointing and distressing. I would not recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a pleasant stay,
especially as someone who is autistic and has mental health issues.

Ah, Travelodge. After a long day at work, away from home, exhaustion and misplaced optimism got the better of me. "How bad can it really be?" I thought. Well – I discovered exactly how bad it could be.

On check in, I pulled back the duvet to check the sheets, where i saw a lovely old blood stain. If the sheets are acceptable like this, whats the rest of it like? So i had to check the mattress. Big mistake. If you've ever dreamed of sleeping in a bed that looks like the remnants of a crime scene, then Travelodge Bromley is the place for you! Imagine collapsing into a mattress that cradles you in a comforting mix of crumbs, dried blood, cigarette burns and, for the adventurous, even a few toenail clippings. Yes, toenails. (Not sure which guest before me decided to enjoy a pedicure in bed.)

So, I thought the staff would handle it for me. After showing the pictures to the staff member on duty however, according to them, there were no other rooms left. Which of course meant I was apparently expected to sleep on the mattress that clearly hadn't seen a proper clean in, I don't know... months?

I politely asked if they would be willing to sleep in such a bed. Unsurprisingly, no answer.

Take a look at the pictures in this review and tell me – is this what you’d call acceptable? Are the mattresses ever hoovered or cleaned, or is the strategy to just keep piling on fresh layers until the stains are buried deep enough that no one notices or checks?

After a bit of back-and-forth, I was miraculously given a single room to sleep in that was not previously available ten mins ago.. Thankfully the mattress in that room was actually clean. Small victory?

So, if you like your hotel stay with a side extra protein in your bed, give Travelodge Bromley a go.
