Nice clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom well maintained and was clean. The room smelt fresh and well aired. Fran who checked us in was really friendly and helpful. I would recommend and will return again based on service received and the room cleanliness / comfort.

Well! Location was ok. Used the Sainsbury’s car park for the night was about £8. Room was ok, very used looking . But only paid 34.99 for the night so not bad. Heater worked which was handy. But the walls and windows are cardboard thick. You hear everything. Road is very noisy. And I was on level 3 and could hear the weights from the gym on ground floor being dropped🤯.

Basic hotel clean and tidy. Nice rooms and accommodating staff no air con in the room because 5th floor was really warm for me . My friends had a 2nd floor room and their room was nice and cool compared to mine. Breakfast box was quick and simple to grab from Recpetion

Travel lodge is a basic hotel, the rooms were decent size and clean. The view from the hotel is beautiful.
The staff were extremely helpful and really polite, they welcomed us with a smile.
The cleaners were also really friendly and helpful.

There is only paid parking around the area for the day but you can park on some side roads after 6pm, but you have to be lucky to get a spot as there is only a few.

There is quite a few shops around the area that are open till late.

Stayed Friday night, had a really positive experience really clean rooms. Reception staff were amazing and really polite. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Location is perfect for shopping, drinking eating etc. We are coming back in December. Would highly highly recommend staying here if I could rate it higher than 5 stars I really would.

Rooms basic but clean and heated. We had a view over the mud-brown canal and it made me feel so sorry for the ducks 🦆☠️. Don’t bother paying extra for the wifi - we could only get it to work on one device & the receptionists asked us to call Virgin Media to fix it… At that point I figured I may as well go to the nearby Costa (with reliable wifi and plug sockets). Also the key cards kept on breaking - but thankfully not while reception was closed (early afternoon)!!! So, exactly what I expected from Travelodge 🤓

The usual TL. Only found one long black hair in the bathroom. Two in the bed... so an improvement. Everything else was fine. Even the window shut properly in this room (403) for a change.

I stayed as I was on a business trip.

Hotel seems to be convenient with the rail station a short drive away and local shops too in walking distance.

Greeted at reception and staff didn't really seem what they were trying to do. I had already ordered their take away breakfast thing which they never said anything at time of arrival. It was only by finding out by someone else that I had to go and get it in the morning.

Room was clean and fresh feel but sadly could hear every noise out in the corridor, from conversations and slamming doors. The shower only just about gave a Lupe warm shower, which wasn't exactly ideal. I know a shower is a shower but there wasn't exactly any clear instructions on how to work it.

I thought the overall price seemed a little more on the pricey side for what it was actually worth.

Giving a 3 star review I thought was generous. I probably wouldn't be staying again.
