Stayed here recently for Download Festival. Excellent all rounder, rooms could do with air con but the fan provided definitely helped. I will definitely stay here again for the festival. The on site facilities exceptional. Also one of the quietest places I’ve stayed which surprised me. Rooms are basic yet really comfortable and spacious.

We stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting donnigton park for the bsb test. On arrival had to wait at reception for approx 15mins before anouther guest told us you have to ring the number. Staff did come straight away and was very friendly. Rooms are very clean I was impressed but the bed was rock hard and uncomfortable. Windows look into the services which was entertaining as I'm a people watcher but in all fairness you couldn't hear the services but could hear next rooms conversation at 1am. Not bad for a short stay. Just the bed was not very comfy. Location was perfect took less than 10 mins to the track.

Sweat box. 2 fans couldn't cool the room down and there was virtually no ventilation as the window had restricted opening. Extractor broke in bathroom which didn't help the heat situation.
Often saw a sign saying "Reception Closed" which is a joke as the website says 24 hour receptionist.
Noisy floorboards. Banging doors. Pleasant staff.
This hotel would be so much better if it had air-con or better ventilation.

Lovely clean and fresh room , only minutes from the air port and free parking . It is the customer service of the staff that makes this hotel an absolute gem. Warm welcome and happy to make the stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible.|Shout out to Lesley who takes customer service to a whole new level. Well Done!

We stayed as we were racing at Donington Circuit and it's only 10 minutes away. It was clean, we had a decent nights sleep and a fan in the room. Have stayed here before and never been let down yet.

I stayed for a single night at this Travelodge and experienced nothing out of the ordinary, all good, all as expected or better. The staff were superb though - they helped with a stupid error I made with my booking, they helped with my mobile phone which had developed a problem and they made great recommendations for eating out in the local area. They made a potential nightmare into 18 hours of smooth enjoyment. Thanks to them.

So stayed here on the 30th June ok may have been the hottest night ever but for the room not to have air conditioning is very poor, I asked for another fan as the one we had did no good at all, they didn’t have one as everyone was after one, it felt like we was being cooked alive, at one point there must have been half the people in the hotel out side at 1 in the morning, because it was the coolest place, some of the rooms had air conditioning but some didn’t I didn’t understand that, it was horrible, I had booked 2 rooms both with kids, so it wasn’t cheap,and there was no where on the website to say you could book a room with air conditioning, and it also said there rooms had been upgraded and they definitely hadn’t

Hotel staff were amazing helped out where possible especially Lesley hotel manager made a massive difference to our stay even brought hairdryer upon request, met beyond expectations, always come back again. Looking forward to staying again reception team brill, clean rooms.
