All the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We chose this location as it was close to a wedding venue. Although adjacent to M1 and Services it was quiet a we were not disturbed. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking was plentiful and they recorded your car reg no so that no fee was required for the service area itself.

Stopped here on our way up the country for a week away having stayed here before and being pleasantly surprised last time. This time, the opposite. The bathroom was dirty, there were multiple broken things in the room we were in and (not directly the hotel’s fault, but a heads up would have been good so that we could book elsewhere) it took us a long time to access the hotel as the whole car park was closed off for resurfacing, which also led to not much sleep as this was carried out in the very early hours. Overall not a pleasant stay the 2nd time around.

A good standard Travelodge in a convenient location if travelling north. We found it quiet even though there was work going on in the car park.
Staff excellent, and a fire alarm (not a test) was well dealt with, thanks to Charlotte and Lesley.

Good location with services next door. Plenty of parking even for a large van, just needs to register at the reception for free parking. Room large and clean. Nice view from the window. Great value for money, would recommend.

No thrills but everything you need. It was clean, comfortable and safe. Free parking and easy check in. The staff were great, welcoming and social. Perfect place to stop along the M1 for a good nights sleep.

A nice reception area and clean, comfortable rooms. Extra pillows are in the wardrobe. Plenty of towels and coffee and tea. A quiet nights sleep as well!

I needed a stop off to ensure i was fresh for training the following day so randomly chose this travelodge for cost reasons. The receptionist was polite and helpful, my room was larger than expected. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean but a little worn as were the doors but with people and suitcases something is going to get knocked. I was on the m1 so noise was consistent overnight but i slept well and the blackout curtains were very good. Am doing it all again this weekend but at a different travelodge.

2nd stay here, the 1st with no issues at all. This time the car park was closed for resurfacing so took a long time to get into the hotel and park, construction noise all throughout the night and we had no choice but to have the window open as there is no aircon or even a fan so the resurfacing works (right outside the window) kept us up nearly the whole night. ||||The bathroom was extremely unclean and grubby, the room looked tired and not well maintained, everything was just disappointing. Guy on reception on check in was far from helpful on check in, no one there later when we were having issues sleeping. All in all, won’t visit again.
