This was a great hotel to stay at, where the staff checked us in promptly at the counter and were readily available at all hours! We were mistakenly given a double room when having booked a twin one and this mistake was sorted once I spoke with them at reception, access was kindly given to our previous room to retrieve belongings also. Lift is reliable although the panel to operate is a bit run down and staircase is in solid condition for that alternative, walking between rooms is quick in the corridors. Beds were comfortable especially with the double pillows available and bathroom is kept clean, facilities were reliable as expected! Storage space is plentiful for clothing and the desk provides a place for general belongings to be kept, seating is relaxed for a chill sit down. Lights are available for different areas of the hotel room and the view is superb, location right next to the Fever club we visited!

The Hotel it self did hav all we wanted, value for money, the room was very clean and tidy plenty of room, Tea Coffee just what we needed after a long Drive. So everything was really good.
The Manager Adrian was awesome and probably went over and above his actual remit which is something he enjoyed doing he really did seem to enjoy his Job. Also a thank you to everyone who made our stay so welcome.

Awful. How can a modern chain hotel not have Air-Con in 2025?!!||I’m lying in here now, it’s 29oC - Not only is there zero AC but the windows only open two inches, so no air can even come in… Asked if they could unlock the mechanism to allow me to open it further and no, they refused. ||Don’t stay here, just use the premier Inn opposite.

A tired and down at heel looking Travelodge. In fact it's quite shocking that Travelodge have a property like this. The bathroom was basic and old. The bedroom space was fine but I couldn't open the curtains as there were properties overlooking and no net curtains. It's good that the windows open for air, as the room was very hot, but the noise at night was TERRIBLE. I thought there was a crowd of drunks outside the hotel as all I could hear was shouting and screaming (and also some very loud traffic) from about 10pm through to 3am or so, but the receptionist told me the next day it's likely from the nightclub all the way around the front of the property. I was on the 3rd floor, supposedly an upgraded and quiet floor, but that noise kept me awake until the early hours.
The receptionist Sabine was very helpful, friendly and nice, and the location is very convenient for the Theatre Royal, but unfortunately that wouldn't be enough for me to stay there again.

Came here for a couple nights stop over for business,and the room was immaculate,wiktoria on the desk greeted me with a smile and friendly personality.She went above and beyond with suggestions of what to do in and around the area and even putting me into a quiet room upon request.

I recently stayed at the Travelodge Plymouth and had a generally positive experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the city. However, if you're a light sleeper, be aware that rooms on the first floor can be quite noisy due to music from the bars below. If possible, request a higher floor for a quieter stay. Overall, a good option for a short stay in Plymouth.
