Had a lovely two night stay here. Check in was easy staff were very welcoming. Room was clean, beds where very comfortable temperature was very consistent. tea & coffee facilities available top up from reception available too. Very easy to find from postcode. Free parking was available just had to enter your registration at reception. Would definitely stay again when visiting relatives in Plymouth. We didn't try the breakfast box so unable to comment.

The location is superb, right by the hospital which is what we needed. ||The room was big with a very comfy bed and extra pillows. There were plenty of large towels which is always great! We requested travel cot which was up ready for us (it was incredibly hard though so we had to soften it with blankets so our baby could sleep). The bathroom was clean and shower was great. Only issue was the heat in the room. 20-24 degrees at all times and the window only opened a crack. There was very little noise. We’d return if needing to visit the hospital for sure.

only 3 sockets in the room||||one taken by kettle, one by TV one by heater. Where are you supposed to plug in your phone to recharge||||Prices have gone from budget to 3 - 4 star hotel yet amenities and service has dropped off||||Post Covid people wash their hands more often and shower. Soap Supply non existent> No holder in Shower for your own shower gel or soap||||Room no longer cleaned to usual Travelodge standard||||Only good thing about our 4 day stay was the night staff who was most helpful in the morning. Therefore i am giving this review 2 stars as opposed to 1 star.||||Paying over £100 per night for a budget hotel. They advertise rooms from £35 however you can never find one and there was none within 50 miles. The reason for our stay was because its the nearest hotel to Derriford Hospital where my dad is an inpatient for a Heart By pass> So a already stressful situation has been made worse by a poor stay||

Stayed just the one night to visit the University of Plymouth. Checked in and found that room was clean, with a large double and 2 singles. Tea and coffee making facilities and plenty of tea bags etc. Bathroom was clean and large fluffy towels provided. We ate at the nearby pub, which was lovely, and had a fantastic meal, which was reasonably priced.. Noted that buses run into the centre of Plymouth on a frequent basis, although we opted for a taxi, which cost £8 each way. Overall a good stay and will visit again.

Room was clean and spacious and served the reason we needed it. Didn't really interact with the staff apart from checking in but we checked in on the evening so was quieter. The only thing I would improve of I had to would be the shower needs more pressure like it's fine but my personal preference is a more powerful shower but that just me and not the hotels fault.

Super car park adjacent to hotel and great pub with amazing food. Needed to be near Derriford hospital for a 7.00 am start so location was perfect. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean as was the bed linen. Staff really helpful and pleasant too. Great value for money so would thoroughly recommend especially if you need to be near the hospital.

My partner and I stayed at this Travelodge recently whilst visiting Plymouth. The lady on Reception was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very big and very clean. The room had a good size bed and a very comfortable mattress. There was slight traffic noise from the nearby road but it was tolerable. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you

One of the worst Travelodge I have ever stayed in for cleanliness, on the face of it it looks ok but you end up with hairs on you constantly in the room long hairs that could not be mine. Pubic hair in the beds when you walk in before it’s been sat in. This is not a one off unfortunately I have to use this one for work as it’s what they book me, it is cheap but that should be relating to facility’s not cleanliness this should be a standard.

I would also add I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and never had this kind of issue with hair and stained bedding to this extreme (looks like make up but every room I have stayed in is the same) maybe they need a new cleaner and hoover.

Also you can hear people switching light switch’s on and off that’s how thin the walls are again sort of expect that for the price but not the room being dirty.

A great pub across the road and close to the hospital which are positives.
