Very basic but does exactly what it says on the tin. Perfect when getting off the ferry late for somewhere to rest. Other than it feeling like you're on the set of Shameless and it not being very warm with a useless electric radiator it was OK. Didn't feel very safe having the car in the car park so not very relaxing and struggled to sleep.

Everything you'd expect of a Travelodge, no frills but clean, comfortable and functional. The room had a bath as well as shower, which I was happy with. The room temperature was a little on the cool side (not a surprise in November!) but the wall heater quickly got the temperature up. No excessive noise, lifts working, stairwell clean and well lit, and reception staff were very friendly. It's super easy to find as you exit the M275, and lots of parking space at no extra charge. No complaints here - I will probably book again next time I'm visiting family in the area!

The room was very comfy, more than the Holiday Inn in Portsmouth that I was in last month. The staff were super friendly and were very informative! It's a convenient walk or bus to where I need to be, with a stop almost right outside that connects you to the whole city. My experience has been brilliant here and I would definitely stay again!

The bedroom floor was not clean; we moved a bed to one side to pick up a dropped item and found bits of tissue/toilet paper were scattered underneath it. My bathroom (room 203, disabled access) was shabby and had rusty grab rails. The taps were not clean and the bath very worn. The shower was weak. The attached pub did not serve food after 9pm which, considering people are travelling to a major port from around the UK, is just not good enough.

โ€œI had a wonderful experience at the Travelodge thanks to Kirsty at reception. She was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to help usโ€”nothing was too much trouble for her! The hotel itself was spotless, tidy, and wonderfully quiet, making our stay even more enjoyable. A big thank you to Kirsty for making us feel so welcome!โ€

Had a great stay at hotel food was fantastic and well priced. The front of house Emma and char was very helpful and polite and dealt with everything we needed . The room was ideal bed was comfy The only problem was the TV could of been bigger and would of been nice if they did an early breakfast as the could only supply breakfast box . The shop are very close and bars and takeaway s the ferry port is close too . The hotel was ideal for the course I was on and only a 15 minute walk so ideal .

I'm not a great one for reviews, but in this case I feel that some staff have gone so far beyond the norm. that I had to write one. We have stayed here a few times before and always been happy, but this visit required quite a bit of getting around and advice from someone with experience of the City. In this case it was Marg. on reception who went above and beyond to help us. With her help we were able to plan all of our visits with relative ease and not let anyone down. Well done to you, and thanks again !! Maybe see you on the next visit !!

Excellent budget hotel|Easy to park tho the reception is a bit tucked away. Plenty of free spaces. Met at reception by LeYvonne & Salim who were both brilliant, professional and helpful.|Room was pretty basic tho the bed was incredibly comfy. Good size bathroom and great water pressure in the shower. |Room was quiet despite its main road location.|No cafe here and the pub attached is a bit โ€œchavโ€ |Two well stocked tho pricey vending machines make a decent stop gap though thereโ€™s several eateries within literally 3 mins walk!|All round a great business stay
