I can honestly say I had the best nights sleep in years! Staff friendly and helpful on arrival and throughout my stay. Nice quiet room even at the weekend. Easy to park and good location. I will stay here again. I agree its time for some TLC however my room was spotless, warm and just what I needed

Just on the edge of Saltash, but convenient for our family "do" at the nearby country club, this was basic accommodation, but affordable. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. It was fine for an overnight stay. No complaints. Staff were helpful.

Much better than we expected. Yes the hotel and grounds are dated but the staff were friendly, the room was spotless, the dog was welcome and the place was surprisingly quiet considering where it is situated. It was perfect for an overnight stay after a family celebration.

Sheesh Travelodge where to begin. Awful location in Saltash, don't be fooled by the pictures, the last time the exterior looked like that was probably on opening day! It's full of weeds, stained paving and unkept gardens, attached to the back of a service station. It resembles a prison! I booked for breakfast because it's my kids favourite part of a holiday...but didn't realise 'Breakfast on the go', was just a pre-packaged box of goods, not a cooked breakfast. So I ammended my booking a few days before I arrived...which I was charged £10 for, and removed the breakfast because I didn't want it. I arrived to ask about my refund of £75, where dear Gary at reception just shrugged his shoulders and said "I don't know, maybe it's still being processed" and then pretended to do something on the computer... and then after 5mins just slid my room key over hoping I had forgotten! And said "it's all got really confusing"...nope, pretty f*@king easy to understand actually! ...so I didn't take the breakfast expecting a refund, only to be told when I got back home that it was non refundable! (A pre-packed box of goods!!) Why allow you to take it off on the booking system in the first place, or why do the staff not know anything about the refunding of extras! So easy to fix!! Gary also tried to charge me again for my pet, so there's clearly no systems integrations between hotel and the booking system. The room was dirty, we found someone else's sock under the bed, the carpet smelt of wee, one of our sheets were stained with blood, beds were so uncomfortable, we hardly slept. As a family holiday we obviously made a really stupid decision. But everything from booking to check in to hotel room, to support...was just so sub standard, I'm not even sure how this hotel is open! So being £75 down on a 'non-refundable' breakfast and a pretty rubbish hotel I think it's fair to say it's my first and last time staying at a Travelodge!||||I'm all for budget hotels because our holidays are more about being in the local environment and just coming home to a comfortable room...I don't need any fancy extras....but this is the first time I've ever felt completely ripped off, which takes a lot because I'm pretty chilled and easy to please! I'll stick with Premier Inn in future because I have yet to have a bad experience.

Worst hotel I have ever been to. Filthy outside, actually watched a guy empty the bins; half went into a bag and the rest of the rubbish left blowing around. Completely run down. Chair mended with tape and bathroom fittings rusty. Room like a sauna. Turned heater off but still pumping out heat. Staff, OK and reasonably friendly when they were there. Attempted to collect breakfast 3 times. When we got it, we wished we hadn't; absolute rip off. Felt like a doss house and worse than any YMCA i stayed in when I was younger. I cannot think of anything positive to say. For 2 people it wasn't even particulaly cheap. AVOID.

Mattress one of the worst I’ve ever slept on, would have been more comfy on the carpet in the corridor. 3 hours sleep at the most. When I did get up I had a look at the mattress and found it to be yellow.|Positives - the friendly welcome and location.

After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant but I had a wonderful stay. ||Clean, quiet and amazing customer service. ||Even though we had a buggy and there was steps to our room we were offered assistance and would do it again

Very friendly and welcoming on arrival, good location too, room clean, but that’s the only positives. Bed very uncomfortable, and the carpet in the corridor would have probably been softer to sleep on. Barely 3 hours sleep, not what you need after over a 5 hour drive. Looked at the mattress when I decided to get up and found it rather yellow. And its name must be one of the biggest misnomers, Sleepeezee Travelodge Dreamer Bed. I certainly didn’t have much to dream about. It’s a polar opposite to a Travelodge I stayed in a month ago in Worcester.
