This was a last minute emergency stop after being snowed in. Very clean room with comfy bed. Bathroom a bit dated but functional. Lady at reception was so helpful and welcoming. She couldn’t have done more to help. Perfectly situated at the services for our immediate need.

Pros: spacious room, comfy pillows and bed, welcoming staff on reception.

Cons: toilet in my room wasn't clean, shower had to be run for a minimum of ten minutes before it was warm enough to use, no lift for those with lots of luggage, desk was too high to work at comfortably given the lack of a decent desk chair.

Quiet room. Property easily accessible from A1. Receptionist (Fijian) was most welcoming and helpful.|Clean room. “No. 1 😁” Easily accessible for me as a pensioner with heavy baggage.|Have stayed here before many times and have never had any issues; a better location than the hustle and bustle of Scotch Corner Services

A budget hotel but working a week of 12 hour days this hotel was ideal with good A1 road connections. Clean, comfortable, warm, quiet and modern refurbishment to rooms I had good nights sleep. Helpful friendly staff. Added bonus of shower and a bath and room tea and coffee supplied and more at reception with free car parking which can add considerable costs on a weeks stay.

Stayed here as we were doing the polar express ride had booked an early check in but travelled on the day of the worst weather so when we arrived at 12pm Chris who was on duty was the only staff member in as the others had not turned up due to the weather , despite this he had made sure our two early check in rooms were ready for us as well as sorting all the other rooms and doing reception on his own. |Rooms were clean and comfortable and really good price for a one night stopover can recommend for a cheap stay if doing the same activity.

Superb - the room was immaculate and freshly made up. The hotel itself seems looked after and in good order. The staff at reception couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. A fantastic hotel which ticks all of the boxes of a place to stay. Comfortable beds and quiet in general.

Love this place. Easy to reach. Staff are very kind and informative. Rooms spacious. There are baths with overhead shower in all rooms. Hurray. With appropriatte safety rails for getting in and out of bath and/or shower. There is also a petrol station near here that sells hot and cold sandwiches. Bacon butties from 5am. Plus it sells everything else good selection of wines and drinks.

Very nice, clean room, good night's sleep . Only issues was the lack of lighting in the car park , all lighting was off . Would use this travel lodge again
