Stayed over the Easter weekend, right in the heart of Telford shopping area, surrounded by loads of places to eat and drink and a very short walk to Telford Central Park
The room was spotless and considering how close the hotel is to nightlife it was really quite. The room overlooked the lake and park at the back, which was a nice bonus. I wouldn't imagine the view from the front is very exiting so you may want to ask for a rear facing room?
Staff very friendly and efficient. I must admit that I don't like the fact that reception is on the 1st floor but that didn't impact our stay in any way and it's just my preference and for info to others
All in all a very nice overnight stay and wouldn't hesitate to book Travelodge Telford Southwater again.

Location is ideal for what we needed, very basic room. When booked no advice given about parking, cannot drive up to the travel lodge so had to turn car round and find the nearby car park then had to drag suitcase etc to the hotel. Two booked in but one bath towel and one hand towel no mat for floor after shower. Asked at reception but delivery hadn’t arrived, great, likely to slip on wet bathroom floor! Dirty mirror in bathroom and hand wash dispenser by sink empty. Do not recommend. Worried about noise tonight as room facing nightclub 😏and not been informed about where to get breakfast!

Location: ||Perfect for the International Centre, shops, bars and restaurants. Can't fault the location 10/10||||Check in: ||We arrived at 0:10 and the security team stayed on a little extra for us to gain access to the car park outside of the hotel 10/10 and very grateful to the team.||||But this is where the good news sadly ends ||||Room 204 is a family room looking out towards bars and restaurants.||The AC in the room does not power on making the room too warm and uncomfortable.||The fan supplied to the room also doesn't work meaning you have to open the window resulting in the room being a little cooler but the bar customers will keep you awake resulting in a poor night sleep.||The bedding had over a dozen spots of (I am hoping this was makeup) but I think it could have been dry blood. I am stunned this wasn't spotted by housekeeping.||Finally this is only a personal preference regarding breakfast, I thought the breakfast offer was poor but I have to admit I didn't read the small print on booking so that is a lesson learned.

The area is nice, lots of restaurants and places to eat. Very close to shopping centre where things can be bought. Staff are always friendly and polite. Rooms are always clean. Sometimes air conditioning doesn't work but I don't have any at home so I can't really complain

Always love staying at the Travelodge. Aimelou checked me in with great service and a friendly welcome. The bed was large and comfortable and great to sleep in. My room had an amazing view. Love staying at this Travelodge. It’s always great to come back here and stay quite often.

Stayed in the hotel with my daughter as we were attending a dance competition at the Telford International centre. The hotel was easy to find and very accessible and close to shops and restaurants and right next-door to the International Centre, which was ideal.||Very friendly staff at reception, the check in and the checkout process was simple, just dropping the card in a slot box. The Room was basic but bed was comfy and everything was very clean and the same with the bathroom. The shower wasn't hugely powerful. My only complaint Is that because of what was happening in Telford that weekend the price of the room hiked massively and it was way over priced for what it was, £249!! ||There was no restaurant within the hotel, so breakfast was a takeaway box from reception which consisted of cornflakes, cold milk, a small water, a pastry and a flapjack. It did the job though, but a bacon sandwich would've been great 😉

Fantastic location for both the town centre and International Centre. OK, really clean rooms can't complain. Might have been only my room but the air con wasn't very cold and it was uncomfortably hot at night. Due to it being in a town centre and the associated noise having the window open over night was not an option.
