Upon arrival, a large group of teens were surrounding the hotel, didn’t feel safe. Due to this, the doors had to be locked and we wasn’t sure how to get in. The receptionist was a nice lad, explaining why the doors had been locked (due to the kids outside). Room could have been cleaner, few hairs in bedroom and bathroom. Also a strange creaking noise throughout the night. I wouldn’t personally stay again.

Stayed for one night in October 24.||Firstly when we stayed the adjacent car park was free, but the guy behind reception thought that would change soon. Nice location, next to the river with the Captain Mainwaring statue nearby.||A short walk into the centre and a little further for the priory ruins - worth a look if you like that kind of thing.||We had a few drinks in the nearby Spoons and the Bell Inn. Had something to eat at The Black Horse. All pretty good. ||Didn't have the Travelodge breakfast, went to the Wetherspoons in the morning.||The room itself was quite small, but for one night it was enough. Comfy bed, not a bad view and a functional bathroom.||As the title says, not bad for one night for somewhere to get your head down.

The location is perfect in town centre also plenty of things to do in thetford. Lovely river view from room. Macauley on reception was very helpful . The room was very cosy but the only down side is the room got very hot and the fan was just blowing hot air around.

I thought it was quite a modern Travelodge. Very clean and comfortable. Location is great, walkable everywhere in the city centre and very quiet at night.
Just downside is no breakfast or bar on site, also room can get quite hot and stuff because the windows don’t open fully but nothing that ruined our stay. Would stay again 🙂

At check In we requested a river view room. The Gentleman on reception accommodated this request professionally and with a smile. Unfortunately I dont know His name, apologies but thank you.|The second receptionist we spoke to a Gentleman by the name of Julio, was extremely helpful, professional and courteous. Additional towels and tea, coffee etc were no problem at all. A big thank you to both of you.|Our room had been recently re furbished with 2 very comfortable chairs, writing desk, reading lamp etc, and overlooked the 19c bridge, river and Captain Mainwarings statue.|Well done Travelodge Thetford!!.

Dusty room, dirty kettle, toenails on carpet, used dirty towel on back of bathroom door with lipstick on. Basic room and was also charged for WiFi usage! Overall expensive for what it was.
