I booked this hotel, as I wanted somewhere close to Bristol Airport to stay overnight (as I had an early flight). I stayed for 1 night. The Hotel was a lot cheaper that the other Hotels a bit closer to the airport (approx £50/ night, which was a bargain). ||My room was a good size and was clean and had everything that I needed (TV, tea/ coffee making facilities, sockets/USB's by the bed). The bed was comfy. The bathroom was clean and looked new and was a good size.||I had a good night sleep and did not hear any noise from the outside or inside.||The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.||The bar was ok and had a selection of drinks and you can also order food (I didnt have any food at the hotel).||The hotel has plenty of parking with is free.||There is a pub opposite the Hotel where you can get a bigger selection of drinks and food and was OK.||I would stay here again, as it was only 20/ 30mins away from the airport at that time of the morning.||The hotel might be a bit out of town, if you want walk to the beach etc. However, it was ideal for me and what I wanted and I would stay here again, if needed.

The staff were friendly and just overworked trying to run reception, restaurant and bar all by themselves. The food was ok, breakfast great, though no Quorn sausages out on the buffet. Evening meal, will definitely not bother with again, the meal deal enquires paying a supplement on as many options as not, the standard meals are not large and not greatly presented, however on the upside the vegan meals had no supplement to pay were well presented and adequate in portion size. The accessible rooms are ironically on the first floor not the ground floor, there are lifts, obviously not great if there is an emergency, emergency facilities are in place so long as there is only one disabled person in the hotel.

Had a few problems with key cards not working but staff member helpful in sorting them out. Room OK for mobility scooter and crutches and was clean and fresh. Alarm by bedhead is too close and could easily be knocked and set off. Floor gradient for shower needs to be deeper as water came right out from shower to door! This room was noisy with front door sounds really loud in room as we were right over front door! All disabled rooms need to be on ground floor for less stressful accessibility! Lift not very big as we were squashed with 1 person standing and 1 person on a mobility scooter. Hotel well placed with pub and Starbucks nearby and helicopter museum.

Stayed in 2 rooms. Friendly staff, comfy beds, shower good. However rooms were freezing and air con/ heater didn’t seem to work. There were plug in heaters provided in rooms thankfully so left that on and was soon toasty but when mentioned to staff was informed in winter hotel aid cold and summer hotel is hot.

Grubby..|The bathroom needs a very good clean there’s limescale all over the taps,the soap dispenser is broken and wouldn’t stay up so made it a little harder to sure….|Both pillows were grubby but the bed was comfy. |The towels are so hard and don’t smell too good.

We enjoyed our stay overall, nice proximity to Weston Super Mare and the M5||Getting to the nearby shop/petrol station is a little awkward though, the hotel really needs to invest in a little path to save their guests from having to climb over the carpark fence and trek through some rough overgrowth to cut off the looooong corner that you otherwise have to walk around to walk there the road way - the area feels a little like it was designed by an American tbch - not the hotels fault but someone really needs to put the work in to fix it and at the end of the day the hotel is the one who's customers are affected, is it going to take an accident happening to someone trekking through that rough before something gets done? Let's hope not 🤞

We booked the travel Lodge and included the meal deal package of dinner and breakfast. On placing our order we were advised there would be a 1 hr wait as there were 2 orders before us and only 1 person in the kitchen and 1 person doing reception and bar. We accepted the 1 hr waiting time. We had ordered the sausage and mash with peas and onion gravy. It was becoming apparent that the 1 person in the kitchen was doing 1 meal at a time. When ours eventually arrived there was only sausage and mash in the plate no gravy and peas, when questioned he said there was no gravy and he had forgotten the peas, my wife was understandably upset told him to keep his food and went without eating, breakfast I have to say was ok

I wasn't impressed at all and expect more for nearly £100 for the night.. The vent heater didn't work, apparently they have trouble with them, the bathroom was clean but the shower is very poor, it was hard to wash soap off and the extractor was next to pointless. The room had a window open which I suspect was to air it out as it did have a bit of a smell. The bed wasn't comfortable and in the morning it sounded like someone was beating a drum which was simply a delivery at 6:30.. I won't be using it again.
