Have stayed in this travelodge whilst visiting family various times.|It's very much luck of the draw with your room, I don't mean by decor... by smell. |First few times, it was pleasant and good value. |The last few times, not so great. |One time our door didn't auto lock when shut. We informed reception, although she was polite she did not believe us and said no other room available to swap.|I asked her to come see for herself, upon inspection she agreed the door was faulty. The receptionist did apologise and magically another room was available. Only the other room smelt of damp but none the less we didn't bring it to attention. Just put it down to bad luck.||The last time I booked 2 nights in January. Only stayed 1 out of the 2 nights because the room stunk of body odour. |The smell was so strong it didn't disappear with the windows open or spraying airfreshner. |We eventually figured the smell was actually coming from the mattress. Reception refunded us for the night we didn't stay. ||It is a shame, as it's convenient. But I'd rather pay a bit extra from now on and stay elsewhere. ||If they have a much needed revamp, I will try again!

We had a warm welcome! The Travelodge was easy to find and had ample parking.
We got to the room and it was simple and clean. When we set our things down we noticed a continuous humming sound. The bed was noisy too but generally comfortable. We did sleep but not as comfortable as it normally is at a Travelodge.
Ensuite was nice, loved the soaps!! Shower was fair.
All in all, a great night for £40

Hotel was a bit tired and needed some investment..and bathroom could do with a bit of an update... but cannot fault the staff at all. We arrived late on a Friday night and Emilia was really helpful and accommodating. She was very informative and had a lovely manner.

Ummm? Where to start? Absolutely terrible stay. Over charged for the room @ £140.00? It should have been £ 38.00!!! They refused to refund my money. Lazy manager and assistant manager. I changed my own sheets and cleaned my own room. The best part of my stay was when I left the hotel. My advice don't stay there. Yeovil town has a choice of good hotels.

We need a hotel to stay near to the Fleet Air Arm Museum, and the Travelodge was perfect. When I opened the hotel room, a smell of cleanliness came right on our noses, which means a lot when you're travelling. The personal were always polite and helpful, it was a great experience!

I hadn't stayed in a Travel Lodge for many years but stayed here out of urgent necessity due to tiredness whilst travelling, so booked from the car park and went in. Staff were friendly enough and quick and efficient. Sadly TL is a bit like a blast from the past, not a patch on Premier Inn in its presentation and overall offering and at a similar price. The rooms are very spartan and the decoration is dated. It did the job and I was grateful it was there.

Stayed in quite a few Travel Lodges before, this was by far the worst ever. Horrible smell throught hotel and room. Room and Hotel was dirty, not just surface dirt but deep down. Would have refused hotel and gone somewhere else if not desperate. Hotel needs gutting and refurbishing.

Didn't actually spend the night but the receptionist was very kind and polite. She let me and my frozen popsicle of a girlfriend stay in the entrance and warm up for a while on our long motorbike journey back home. So thank you 🙂
