Easy to get to with plenty of car parking space, free until 5pm day of departure. All staff were lovely and very helpful, especially with recommendations of the area. ||The room had air conditioning and everything was clean. They provided biscuits and hot chocolate in the rooms which was a really nice touch. ||We would 100% stay here again. Great location, just a 15 min walk from the centre!

A great location easily walk to the centre of York. Unfortunately our mattress wasn't the best - falling to the middle and every night throughout the night were various alarms going off. Disappointing. This was a real shame as the view, location were perfect. Eat all you can breakfast very good and the staff were helpful and easy to approach.
I would go back but would opt for the back of the building - hopefully quieter!

My wife and myself stayed here 3 nights for a York weekend at the end of March. The hotel appeared relatively new, was very clean throughout and in a good location - you can start 'walking the walls' just five minutes walk away. We took a leisurely stroll from the train station through the middle of town to the hotel in about half an hour. The weather was very good for the duration of our stay!||The staff are all friendly and welcoming, rooms and buffet breakfast very good. We also had a meal in the hotel one evening which was equally good.||Would recommend.

Good stay at this hotel. Price was good with parking included.We gave our reg in at reception and had no problem. The car park was always full overnight so walked everywhere rather than risk having no space.|It took us 10 to 15 mins to walk into town but probably quicker for more active people so the hotel location is great.|Our room on floor 4 was fine, clean and had everything we needed.|We ate at the hotel twice in the evenings which was good. We also had breakfast daily which was also fine however because I booked in error during school holidays there was a lot of children in the servery area using the toasters hot drinks machine etc it could be a little busy. |Overall we had a great stay and really good value

We had a clean, comfortable room. The staff were friendly and polite. Parking was excellent.||The proximity to York centre is very useful, it only takes around 10 minutes to be at The Shambles.||Overall, a good stay. |We would recommend, and stay again, at this hotel ||An improvement would be additional coat hangers as standard.

Stayed here for 1 night. Excellent staff. Very clean room on the 3rd floor. Very comfy bed. Will definitely be staying again & hopefully for longer.. didn't have time for breakfast but food looked lovely. Also parking till 5pm next day a big bonus..

Perfectly good location and reasonably central. Expensive still but less expensive than anywhere else on a Saturday night! Plenty of free parking too which is a bonus for York. £9.99 buffet breakfast was fine. Very welcoming on the front desk.

Just arrived home from a lovely few days away.
A fantastic place to stay. Great location, a nice 10 minute walk into the central town and the shambles.
An Asda next door and yummy take away places nearby.

Room was perfect, clean , great service and delicious breakfast with lots of options.

We will return on our next visit to the beautiful York.
