Karmen and Gabor are excellent hosts and were keen to ensure we had a lovely stay, which we certainly did. |Karmen’s breakfasts were really good and included her home made bread and award winning jam. |The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and had outstanding views. |If we’re back in the area we’d definitely book to stay again.

Karmen and Gabor were excellent hosts and on the ball from the moment the room was booked. A very kind message sent straight away outling the facilities, the area and the activities was a pleasant and welcoming suprise.

Can't fault the service or the B&B in anyway, not the hosts Karmen and Gabor who were very attentive during our stay and served a fantastic breakfast.

Would highly recommend this B&B for your stay if ever you are in this area. I don't think you will find anything close to the Tregortha.

The advertised small room was well presented, comfortable and spotless. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and provided an excellent breakfast consisting of home made bread and preserves along with locally sourced free range eggs and salmon. The view from the elevated location is wonderful and parking is no problem.

Lovely B&B in a lovely location. I stopped in on my way along the Cowal Way. The owners were very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the Kyle was a great start to the day. Thanks to you both

This was a perfect stop after a hard day’s cycling. Warm, helpful and informative welcome. The views, from high above the loch, are outstanding. Warm and welcoming room. Good breakfast. The hosts, Karmen and Gabor are lovey people and made us feel very welcome.

Beautiful authentic B and B. We stayed in a double with the most wonderful views of the Kyle's of Bute. The room was large, immaculate with a large double bed. The views were simply stunning.|Breakfast was first class with local produce cooked really well by Karmen. Home made bread, home made jam and free range eggs were lovely.|Again the stunning views from the breakfast conservatory made it unforgettable.|Best of all were the owners Karmen and Gabor and their lovely son.|Altogether an 11 out of 10

I stayed at the Tregortha Guest House very last minute in July when my plan to stay elsewhere fell through. As a result, I arrived feeling exhausted and stressed and Karmen could not have been more welcoming. I was cycling and Karmen let me use her secure garage to store my bike. The room was clean and comfortable and I was provided with recommendations for dinner nearby. In the morning before setting off on the next leg of my journey Karmen made sure I had plenty to eat to keep me going. The view from the breakfast room is beautiful. It was a shame I couldn't stay longer as it was the most relaxed I felt during my whole trip. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you!
