Holy Trinity Bridge was built in 1360-1390 by Benedictine monks, now in the centre of Crowland, with the river redirected back in the 17th century.

Beautiful and steep bridge, now with houses and roads around it. Worth a look if in the area.

A great village to spend several hours in. Few coffee shops and supermarkets. The town is very small but rich in history. The Trinity Bridge is located in the centre of the village. Trinity Bridge is a distinctive three-way stone arch bridge. If you are interested in learning more about the history of the bridge, there is a wealth of material available online and a local library with all the information about the town.

Well, what a curio this is! Originally a wooden bridge, the current unique three way arched bridge dates to the 14th century. Made from Ancaster Barnack Limestone. Due to the waterways being rerouted, the arches now span no rivers.
