I would rate it minus 3 out if 5 if I could. Diabolical place, dirty, rude staff, a danger to life as no fire instructions posted on door. Did not see any smoke/fire alarms. Although smoking banned in hotel it is blatantly overlooked. Granddaughter went to toilet minutes after arriving & light switch came away in her hand leaving her with tingling in arm & hand for a while. Bedside light hanging off wall exposing bare wires. 1 towel between 2, 4 tea bags, no cleaning or emptying of bins, 1 cup, no teaspoon, no replenishing of sugar etc, no cleaning during a 5 night stay. Air fresheners plugged in everywhere trying to disguise smell.|On arrival after knocking, ringing bell & telephoning it took them 20 minutes to let us in. Advertise reception 9am til 11pm during our stay seen nobody. Internet lost for 2 days. I’m disabled yet put on top floor inviting 4 flights of stairs room was NOT en-suite as advertised but up yet another flight of stairs. You can smell marijuana in the hotel - disgusting. I certainly do not class this a hotel don’t know I would class it but certainly nothing that would have unsuspecting people stay at.|You are WARNED - STAY AT YOUR PERIL.

Stayed here for 3 nights with the wife in a double room more then enough space. Very clean room had everything u need, Very good location.

Absolutely Disgusting – Stay Away!

This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are filthy, old, and reek of unbearable smells. Mine stank of frying oil so badly it made me nauseous. When I asked the manager about it, he just said, “Maybe one of our customers is cooking” – as if that’s normal in a hotel! He flat-out refused to change my room, showing zero concern for guests. The entire place feels neglected, dirty, and completely unprofessional. If you value your health and sanity, do yourself a favor and stay FAR away from this dump! It should be shut down.

Stayed here 1 night to save me travelling in bad weather, booked a single room but was upgraded to a double upon arrival free of charge. Room was basic but clean. Had kettle, tv, mini fridge. Nice firm mattress, and shower was nice and hot. Not sure why the negative reviews. No unpleasant smells, staff was friendly. Would defo use again if i needed to stayover thst way again.

Absolute dive, room was tiny couldn’t swing a mouse let alone a cat, bathroom smelt damp and room was dirty, marks all over the walls and the bedside table was like it was pulled out a skip, I be stayed in some rough places but this is right up there

A Nightmare Stay – Avoid at All Costs

I booked this place for a six-night stay but fled after the first night, unable to endure the appalling conditions. From the moment I entered the building, the overpowering smell of damp and mold hit me, making it clear that the place was in disrepair. It seemed as though part of the building was dangerously close to collapsing and had been closed off.

The rooms were even worse. The stench was so unbearable that I could hardly breathe, and my voice began to change. My room was on the second floor, where most of the rooms appeared to be empty, probably for good reason. There was no lift, just a daunting flight of stairs, with carpets so dirty and worn that they were a health hazard in themselves.

The condition of the rooms was on another level of disgusting. Many rooms had steep internal stairs leading to a lower level where a dingy bed or sofa awaited. Despite being warned about the condition of the curtains, I chose the larger room, hoping the extra space might help me cope with the smell for one night. However, the issues with this room went far beyond a half-hanging curtain. A large window was completely broken, there was no running water, and on that rainy night, water poured into the room. When I requested water, I only had it for a mere five minutes before it stopped completely.

The night was a nightmare. I had to leave all the windows open, trying in vain to clear the smell, but it was useless. The reception staff were utterly unhelpful, fully aware of the deplorable state of the property they were renting out.

I barely survived the night in this filthy, crumbling place, and I left as soon as morning broke. This experience has made me vow never to book through Last Minute again, and I will be deleting their app. They seem willing to advertise anything for a quick profit, regardless of the misery it causes their customers.

Avoid this place at all costs.

Really happy with this place amazing stay lovely staff helped me with every possible way they could.tidy and clean rooms nearby shops and close to city centre. Excellent overall will return again.
