We stayed for a couple of days at the start of September and we loved it. The yurt was great and had everything we needed. The wood burner in the yurt is amazing, it was really cosy even though we had some windy and rainy weather! We loved being on the farm - there were cows in the field straight outside the yurt, and as you're driving down to the farm there are highland cattle in the fields. During our stay we went to the Woodhouse cafe nearby which was really nice, and we travelled to Loch Lomond which is about an hour away. We were also really happy with the covid safety measures (the kitchen and bathrooms are not shared with anyone else which is great, there is hand sanitiser available to use before entering the yurt, and we felt assured that everything was cleaned to a high standard). Kate the owner is great, she was really helpful and friendly, and Faith the dog is gorgeous.

The Yurts were spacious, clean and had all the equipment needed for a short or a long stay.

The host, Kate, was very welcoming and was able to help with any questions we had. There was also an electric car charger that was recently installed we were able to use which is a massive bonus for anyone with an electric car.

The setting was beautiful and we all had a great time exploring the farm, taking walks to see the cows and the kids enjoyed collecting all the conkers.

Had a really lovely short break at the Trossachs Yurts with our 3 kids. 5 of us slept really comfortably between the 2 double beds and 1 sleeping mat. The yurt is really well equipped for cooking and eating and the kids had so much fun building a den and exploring the surrounding grounds. Lovely lunch at the smiddy and an educational walk at Flanders moss too. Kate, the host is lovely and welcoming and my kids took a real shine to the farm dog. Covid precautions have been very well thought out and we felt safe that the all regulations have been met. Look forward to visiting again in summer.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights. We arrived in the evening and had a very warm welcome from Kate and lovely Faith, the dog! We were a bit late to start cooking, so we paid a visit to the local pub for dinner, the Lion and Unicorn. A very cosy and friendly pub for dinner, throughly recommended. Our yurt was gorgeous- very cosy with lots of blankets and cushions for warmth, and also a fabulous wood burner. The bedding was clean and warm. It's well kitted out in the kitchen area of the yurt: cutlery, cooking utensils, crockery, gas stove and kettle for a morning cuppa etc. Also the surrounding land of the yurt is lovely for exploring-woodlands, trees, fields, sheep and cows! Also a bbq and lovely decking area and picnic bench. The main kitchen is also well equipped, with all the utensils you need. The bathroom is a little small but compact. A good hot shower. Also a washing machine which was very handy. Kate was very responsive to our needs eg with lanudry, charcoal for the bbq and also for local recommendations. The only downside was that our stay was too short! We will be sure to visit again 🙂

My mum and I stayed here with our dog for a couple of nights of 'staycation' and had the loveliest time. The yurts are beautiful inside and out, extremely cosy with lovely decor and very well-equipped: wood burning stove with an oven partition, gas camping hob, good range of cookware and cutlery, barbecue, tea and coffee. There's a water tap at the walkways between the yurts, and they also have their own kitchens and bathrooms by the farmhouse too which is great for social distancing too. The yurt, kitchen, and bathroom were spotlessly clean.||||Lovely surroundings with nice walks on the farm, nearby in Thornhill, and around the wider area too. The perfect digital detox with sounds of birds, sheep and cows around you. Very cool willow labyrinth behind Ben Lomond yurt. Kate was so welcoming and friendly (as was everyone else we met at West Moss-side!) and happy to recommend good walks, places to eat etc.||||Ben Lomond yurt was super dog-friendly, with a dog bed set up in the yurt, food and water bowls outside, and a lovely bag of mixed treats for which our dog was extremely appreciative!

Can't put into words how wonderful this place is. In a brilliantly peaceful & quite area, not far from towns, nature reserves and the Loch. Also, Edinburgh is only an hour away, and Glasgow is close to. Wonderful host who built us a fire on our first night, left homegrown vegetables to cook with in the kitchen & gave us a tour of the mini art gallery they have. A brilliant place for kids also, with lots of space for them to play and even a maze. Also very suitable for dog owners, with lots of places to go for a walk. The yurts themselves are wonderful, all sleeping arrangements are extremely clean and comfortable and they benefit from a great log burner in which we cooked apple crumble and mini pizzas. Also cooked burgers on the BBQ outside and sat enjoying the views of the mountains. Thanks for a great stay, wish to return soon.

Booked a weekend break for myself and 3 friends. We were not disappointed. The yurt had everything you needed. ||Tea coffee and sugar were available for us alongside a kettle gas stove and wonderful log fire ||The owner Kate was lovely and sells produce from her farm. If you are a meat eater honestly buy some sirloin. It was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. I cannot wait to try my sausages ||Set in the countryside so very very peaceful with views that's are wonderful.||We shall all be going again soon.||Open from Easter until October.||Don't forget to visit the lion and unicorn for a lovely meal.
