We spent three nights at this delightful B&B. Richard and Nigel are excellent hosts. Nothing seems too much trouble. There home is a delightful converted barn and guests are welcome to most parts of it, including limited use of the kitchen. Between them they provide a wonderful selection for breakfast, which is served in their large kitchen. There is a lovely sitting out area in the garden for fine weather. |We had the Cyder Room, which was large, comfortable and well appointed. The en suite had a very efficient shower and separate bath.

We stayed at Trussel Barn for four nights and we didn't want to leave! Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. From the first time we met Richard and Nigel we felt welcome and able to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Our room was light, airy, and spotlessly clean; the bathroom rated 5 stars too, with a luxurious bath, super-size shower and fluffy towels. After a good night's sleep, we awoke to the fabulous view and the smell of breakfast being prepared. The choice of delicious breakfast options was very good, everything from veggie/vegan to full English with tasty cereals and fruit to start. My favourite was scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, great coffee too! As we didn't know the area well we were able to ask Nigel and Richard for ideas of places to visit and get more out of our stay. Each time we arrived back at the barn we had a warm welcome from Bertie and Mollie, the lovely doggie hosts of Trussel Barn. Of all the places we have stayed on our travels, Trussel Barn stands out as a perfect getaway, a place to relax and unwind, and a base to explore this beautiful part of Cornwall. We hope to return here soon.

Thank you Nigel Richard Molly and Bertie for making our stay so enjoyable . Nothing was too much for you guys. The rooms were spotless and real luxury, even had Netflix !!! Lovely location looking out over feilds and under cover parking. We loved the lindt chocolate fairy that filled up our chocolate bowl in our room each day. Breakfast was outstanding, took requests from us and always had fresh fruit and cereal. The best thing about this stay was the company. Richard and nigel are lovely and so welcoming. Bertie and Molly are so cute and always there to meet you in the morning with a toy. I didn't want to leave ! Thank you !

Trussel Barn is a stunning, spacious and immaculately kept barn conversion come home. The welcome on arrival is warm and inviting. Nigel and Richard are the perfect hosts, polite, fun loving, relaxed and happy. Nothing was an inconvenience to these two gents whose sense of humour and happiness shines a ray of sunshine through even the gloomiest of days. This is a holiday home worth returning to. Do remember to take a doggy treat for Bertie and Molly if you go and they will be your best pals.

Trussel Barn was a delight right from the moment we arrived. Even though we were way early for booking in, Nigel was very helpful in letting us leave our luggage there whilst we made the most of our day. We were also kindly offered a drink and something to eat after our long journey. Great start, thank you Nigel. And what a greeting from Bertie and Molly, and not only when we first arrived.||When we had spent our day exploring the surrounding area we arrived back to Trussel Barn and was shown to our room. We were expecting a lovely room based on the pictures on the website we booked through, and definitely weren't disappointed. The room was spacious and very clean, the views were absolutely lovely, looking over the very well kept garden, to the valley in the distance. The room was furnished with decent sturdy furniture. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided with a good selection of teas and coffee, plus some nibbles. We also had a handy fridge under the coffee making area (very useful). There was plenty of storage for our clothes and the bed was a good size.||The bathroom was very large, comprising a bath, separate large shower, a sink and WC. Soap for the sink and shower were also provided, as was a hair dryer in the sleeping area.||We were asked when we would like to have breakfast in the morning and what we would like, and nothing seemed any trouble for Nigel and Richard. Breakfast was served at the time requested and all was cooked perfectly by Richard and Nigel. We had a selection of cereals, fresh fruits and yogurt. I cannot fault anything about our stay at Trussel Barn with Nigel, Richard, Bertie and Molly, and would not hesitate in staying at Trussel Barn with them in the future.||We received an A+++ service from Richard and Nigel and if we are ever back in Cornwall there accommodation will be the first we will try to book.||Thanks for a lovely stay Richard, Nigel, Bertie and molly......

We have stayed here many times and keep going back because of the Stunning location with fabulous owners. Nigel & Richard are always friendly and welcoming. Rooms are very clean and have lovely views, wonderful breakfasts with a choice of literally anything you want as long as you request in advance. There is also a self catering unit on site which id Dog friendly if you want to stay for 5 or more nights. You wont beat this location if you are looking for tranquillity and a peaceful stay.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Welcoming, friendly and fun. Accommodation is very clean, very comfortable, very beautiful and very spacious. The location is superb with lovely views all round, very peaceful, gorgeous garden and grounds, covered parking and easy access. Breakfasts are out of this world, freshly prepared by the hosts, who are really friendly and fun guys. Made us so welcome and thoroughly spoiled us. Fantastic fruit salad with fresh raspberries from the garden was a highlight. Even the two lovely dogs, Bertie and Molly, made us feel completely at home, so friendly and well behaved. We didn't want to leave!

What a fantastic welcome in a beautiful setting. Richard and Nigel made every effort to make our visit hugely enjoyable. Great breakfasts, very comfortable rooms, friendly dogs (Bertie & Molly) and just a short walk from St. Keyne Wishing Well Halt Station, perfect for a day out by train to Looe! Our family birthday weekend was made very memorable, Nigel even baking a super cake. Thank you chaps!
