We attended a wedding here recently but couldn't hear the service due to the noise from the neighbouring conference room of large groups of people chatting. The hotel didn't have microphones for the couple or kids doing the readings, so we didn't hear much of it, despite sitting so near the front. We were surprised the hotel staff didn't manage the noise, or have any soundproofing between the two rooms.

After the service, there was a lack of clear direction from the staff, who didn't show people to the wedding reception drinks and refreshments area, so most people followed others to the bar instead.

The communal areas and gardens are lovely if the weather is good, you'll get some really good photos. There's lots of space to mingle and plenty of seating.

There's no lifts here, so ask for an accessible room if stairs are a problem. The shower head in our room kept tipping forward and didn't stay in place so it had to be held, but there was plenty of hot water and the shower temperature stayed constant. The bed creaked every time we moved but we only stayed one night, so it wasn't too a big issue.

Bar prices were around £10 for a small prosecco bottle and £30 for 75cl bottle. It was nearly £15 a cocktail though. You can look on their website for prices; the dining menu included some drinks prices.

The food at the wedding was a large roast with plenty of sides - no one went hungry. The desserts were great.

Breakfast was good as it was hot with decent portions and there were lots of other options. There's a good bean-to-cup drinks machine at the back of the room, so go for that rather than filter coffee.

Honestly don't know where to start...we couldn't have asked for a better venue to host our wedding reception. The Clocktower room was beautiful as always and looked exactly as we hoped it would. The grounds were gorgeous, and provided us with so many opportunities for photos.|||Our bridal suite, was just wow! The refurbishment looks absolutely amazing, the room was beautiful. We are already talking about heading back at some stage to stay again. We were so grateful for our lovely surprise at the end of the night (but I'll not spoil it for other couples!)|||The staff were just amazing. Nothing was too much bother and they provided us and our guests with brilliant service, which so many of our guests complimented on.|||The food was simply gorgeous. Everyone said how much they enjoyed their dinner, and so many even had seconds. Along with the evening buffet, our guests were well fed to say the least! |||We also wanted to give a shout out to the lovely Shirley, who was on hand to keep everything running smoothly, kept us right with our timings and made us feel so at ease. She was such great craic and had us laughing throughout the day! |||Last, but certainly not least, we want to thank Majella, our wedding coordinator, who did everything to ensure we had the best day for our wedding. We would have been lost without her and her expert advice. An absolute super star, who made sure that every detail was taken care of.||Cannot recommend the Tullyglass House Hotel more for your wedding venue, a night away or even just for their carvery and restaurant services. Amazing all round ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This excellent hotel was able to accommodate us at very short notice when we were forced to abandon our home because of a lengthy and lasting power cut, the result of extensive storm damage. The staff were very friendly, most obliging, attentive and helpful, - nothing was too much trouble for them. The standard of comfort and cleanliness throughout was high. The choice of menu and quality of food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the ambience here and in the resident's lounge and bar. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and parking is easy. We were made to feel most welcome and were able to relax and recoup after a stressful few days. Jean and Bill

We had the pleasure of filming our final wedding of 2024 at this stunning venue, and we were thoroughly impressed! It was our first time here, and everything exceeded expectations. The size of the main wedding bar and dining area was perfect spacious and so well laid out... From the warm welcome to the incredibly helpful and kind staff, everything about this hotel made the day seamless and enjoyable. The hotel itself was spotless, the food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the beautiful grounds provided a breathtaking backdrop... Parking was hassle-l free, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. We couldn’t recommend this hotel enough for anyone planning their special day!

Stayed here a few times when visiting Ballymena on business and until now never had an issue||Booked a superior room for 2 nights- the rate was reasonable at just under £200 per night, and the room and food were acceptable ( although the rather poor breakfast advertises hash browns, which are never available, since BREXIT apparently!||For the first night, all was OK||For the second night, when i retuned late afternoon there was obviously a wedding taking place, and this is when things started to go downhill||Early evening there was a football match on in the bar and some over refreshed guests from the wedding decide to behave as though they were at the game, shouting and swearing, which was rather off putting for a supposedly 4 star establishment||On returning to my my room, which was right above where the wedding disco was happening, the music was very loud, and went on....and on......and on....until I phoned reception at 11pm and was advised the music would go on until 1am!!||Whilst it wasnt the fault of the wedding guests, the hotel I think has failed on 2 aspects||When taking bookings guests who are not part of a planned wedding party, advise them there is a wedding on and there will be associated noise, and do this at the time of booking/ and/or advise at check in and ensure they are situated away from the noise||Or, do not book in business travellers midweek when there is a wedding on!||As it stood, I had about 3 hours sleep less than I would have done, because I wasnt prewarned of the noise, or sited in a different part of the hotel||Nothing was done to adjust my bill, so I wont be staying again

We had an amazing night away here (our wedding reception venue 😁) for our 7th Wedding Anniversary! The amazing service and delicious food is just as good as it was seven years ago and we would highly recommend this to anyone looking a relaxing night away or an amazing wedding venue that doesn't disappoint!
