Very slow service. Waited a good 10 minutes for coffee at a really quiet time. Oatcakes for 2 with cheese and bacon arrived 20 minutes later and were cool so sent them back. Shocked at the total cost of over £32. Regret cannot recommend cafe and I visit many but this is the first time I have had occasion to comment.

Came for breakfast, my grandson said its the best breakfast ever, he had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. I had scrambled egg on toast and my partner had a bacon baguette. Thrfood and service was excellent. And it's dog friendly

We attended the cafe as we had heard of it from friends. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. The girl serving was particularly unwelcoming. No greeting, no smile...awful. I asked what cake was available she replied with " board's on the wall", very rude. We had to wait 25mins and we'd only ordered 1 coffee, coke, a piece of cake and 1 slice of toast. The cafe only had one occupied table who had been served and a couple of cyclists at outside tables, so it wasn't busy. When the order came it was brought separately with minutes apart for each item. The young man on duty was the most pleasant of the 3. He was polite and bid us goodbye as we left. An experience not to be repeated, sadly.

Ordered a cheesecake for my partners birthday.
The lady who owns the cafe went above and beyond to get it to me in time!
She was so lovely and the cheesecake was the most delicious cheesecake we have ever eaten!
Previous occasions Iv also tried the other cakes on the counter which are just as yummy!
Will definitely be coming back regularly!!
10/10!!! Lovley place!
Didn’t eat in but looks really cute too with indoor and outdoor seating and a dog field I will be taking my fur baby to soon!

Staff were very welcoming they couldn't do enough. They even brought out treats for my little border terrier and a bowl of water. Coffee and walnut cake was delicious and a huge generous slab to boot. This café is just off the Trent and Mersey canal in the middle of the countryside to the south of Handsacre without Google I would never have known it was there, but a real find.

Used the dog field and finished off our visit with a snack in the cafe. Food was freshly cooked and a great selection of homemade cakes. Cafe was clean & tidy and the service was fine. Certainly recommend

Upon searching for a place to have my sons 1st birthday cake made I came across Tuppenhurst Barn, B&B and cafe and they did not disappoint! The staff were lovely, chatty and accommodating and the lady that made my cake went above and beyond to give me exactly what I asked for. It's gorgeous and although it seems a shame to cut into it we're all excited to dig in. The whole area is beautiful and very well presented and we will be coming back whether it be for another cake, a coffee or to bring our dogs to the dog field! Definitely recommend and thank you so, so much for contributing to such a special day ? consider us some new, very happy regulars! Xx

The place is really lovely but there is no atmosphere. Silent when you walk in, could do with soft music to distract others from listening in to conversations. We only had toast but £3.50 for toast seems excessive and it was really dry. Although a beautiful location I won’t be rushing back. Shame as it has a lot of potential.
