Excellent apartment hotel. I've stayed at other Locke hotels before and they all share a similar design, merging elements of a smart apartment hotel, or a cool hostel, together with the sort of slightly pricey on-site bars/restaurants you might get in a 5-star hotel. Lobby area is a bit underwhelming here but good facilities overall. The immediate area is very clean and modern, not much going on though and a 10min ride to central Cambridge.

The overall look of the accommodation was great - the bed was comfortable - the kitchenette had everything we needed to make a meal - the shower had good pressure. We were given a day ticket to Cambridge city centre which was really useful and easy to use, with the bus literally outside the door. It took around 25 minutes to the centre. We would stay here again and recommend to others.

Clean, well-equipped for longer stays with friendly helpful staff. Right next to the wonderfulAstronomer restaurant and attached to a Hyatt-Centric. Not fancy, but comfortable. Very convenient grocery stores super close as well as bus stops for the university and going into town.

We enjoyed our stay at Turing locke. They allowed us to bring 2 dogs - as they are tiny! So we got to spend Xmas altogether. V. dog friendly with woof package inc. free toys & treats. Apartment was comfortable for 2 of us & 2 little dogs. Cooker & hob slightly hard to figure out how to use but reception helped us. We didn't actually need the pin number for the car park - just call reception! Everything we needed was available. I would recommend - in fact my cousins stayed here last year too.

This is perhaps something really personal. I booked a room for my mom when she visited UK for me in September 2023. It was a messy day because I just had a surgery removing a nodule in my neck in addenbrooke and I got a call back saying the nodule was malignant and I will need to go through another surgery. And the same date I had covid, so I had to book a hotel room for my mom to stay away. She just came all the way from China, got this news and was so worried and told me that she was crying in the lounge in Turing Locke. And someone from the reception came to her, hugged her and asked if she is okay. I was isolated and couldn’t do anything. So to that person, I don’t know the name, but thank you so much for asking my mom if she was okay that day. It was a really a kind move and saved her day. I really want to say thank you:)

The hotel is located in the perfect place near Sainsbury’s and a lot of coffee shops. The interior design is modern and the service is perfect. In my room, I have bedroom, bathroom and the living room with washing machine and kitchen. The setting is perfect and good for family.

||Unfortunately the hotel just missed the mark for us. The staff are friendly and there are lots of nice thoughtful touches, but it's really difficult to get a good quiet nights sleep. The beds are super uncomfortable, and we heard crashing and banging around from other guests day and night. The sofa was also rock hard and horrible to sit on, but with no TV in either bedroom, it was the only option. It was also impossible to get the temperature right, and we had to go into the babies room throughout the night to change the setup. The air con is really poor for what appears to be a new building, and the heaters are set to red hot, making it hard to strike a balance. ||The food and drink options are good, and the hotel give you 15% off in the neighbouring restaurant, The Atronomer, but at nearly £30 for a main (inc service charge), we felt it was very over priced. Same with the cocktail bar - £25 for two cocktails in a dead quiet room in a remote area feels steep. ||Finally, I think the additional £15 per night parking charge should be included in the price, or you should be told of the cost at the time of booking. You can not park anywhere for free in the area and it's very far from central Cambridge - so you really have no other option than to drive by car.

Got a parking ticket for using their car park, took 3 months to appeal but with the private parking company as Turing Locke or their head office didn't even reply. So nice venue, expensive food and either free or £100 parking fine you roll the dice. Lots of other hotels to use in the area no loss.
