Delicious cakes and pastries, we got some to take out and were not disappointed. The Cinnamon Swirls were wonderful. Staff were really friendly and happy to give recommendations. The best cafe we visited in Holt by a long way!

Two Magpies is a lovely café in Holt (with a few other locations across the UK).

The interior is very cozy, welcoming, and has a lot of options for seating. I was really pleased they allowed dogs inside. They also served puppuccinos with little treats on top that were downright adorable.

I was really pleased with the abundance of treats available that catered to a multitude of dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free). Of the ones I tried, the amaretto cookie and tiramisu cake were highlights. I found the lemon square too bitter for my personal preference.

The coffee itself is good, but I wouldn't classify it as 'speciality' per se (i.e. they don't serve single origin beans from independent roasters). If you're not a coffee snob, then this won't be an issue whatsoever.

All in all, a lovely café I would check out while in Holt!

It was a delightful place with a wide variety of cakes, pastries, sandwiches, and all sorts of tasty things to eat. We ordered some coffee, which was great. The Almond Bisscoti was crunchy outside and moist inside. The Friand, which is very rarely on the menu in many bakeries, tasted lovely. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. It was teeming with customers and busy. The atmosphere was great and the interiors were nice. The display was fabulous and made my mouth water. Excellent place to stop if you are in Holt for a nice cup of coffe/tea and cakes.

The best cafe in Holt! In my opinion, this cafe serves the best-tasting coffee, along with a great selection of sweet snacks. Every time I visit, the service is outstanding, which keeps me coming back. The staff (Alex, Maddie, Ginta and Kerry) always go the extra mile even during busy times. They are all genuinely happy to help.

The food looks great, but we had one dish served and then waited an age before having to chase the other two - just two sausage rolls. They then went off to warm them up but they were still really cold inside. No one seemed very bothered. Odd - could be such a lovely spot.

We went for brunch, plenty of tables and space which was really nice! Amazing selection of cakes and some savery foods on display. Coffee was tasty and I had the salmon bagel which was delicious. Though I wouldn’t recommend the toasties, as they were pre-made and pre toasted on display, we thought we would get fresh made ones but the just reheated the ones on display so they were very hard and the crusts were inedible which was a shame. Four people with drinks and food came to about £50.

Delicious snack with a cup of tea (even the tea was leaves not bags). Highly recommended. I had the Spiced Moroccan Roll. I expected it to be a spicy sausage roll, but it wasn't it was all vegan and really really nice. Holt itself is a top marks village/town to visit with loads of quirky and speciality shops and nooks and crannies. Great on a sunny day and a must visit for Norfolk.
