Normally have the breakfast at the Premier inn or the Spoons but thought I would try this place and OMG what an amazing breakfast. Every item was cooked perfectly and all quality items. From now on whenever I stop in Wellingborough I will be coming here as its so good. It has an upstairs area as well as a large outdoor area. Highly recommended.
Look forward to returning in the future.

Really yummy food at a reasonable price! The brownies were amazing too! Didn't manage to get photos of the food as we started eating straight away. The ladies working behind the counter were lovely and friendly

If you’re looking for the best breakfast in a peaceful atmosphere, I highly recommend Ugly Mug Coffee Shop. The staff is very friendly, and the food has an authentic British taste.

popped in the cafe after dropping my car in for a service. They had an offer on of either bacon or sausage bap with a hot drink for £5. Nice and clean in the cafe with nice seating. Served by friendly staff and opted for a bacon bap and a black coffee, you also get a portion of Hash browns with it. Sat near the back which overlooks the Church and grounds, so really nice views. Coffee nice quality and food arrived shortly after. Bacon served in a brioche bun. Nice quality bacon and lovely hash browns (not greasy). Overall a pleasant cafe. You are able to order breakfast your way but noticed the items priced at £1.50 each item. Perhaps if they did just a breakfast special with a drink and a set price i would have opted for that. I will be back to try a full breakfast but overall a tasty bap and nice coffee. It was quiet when i visited but it was early morning on a week day. Worth a go, and looked like a good menu selection.

Stopped by Ugly Mug for lunch and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was top-notch.

I had the beef tacos, and they were a burst of flavor in each bite. My wife went for the sourdough baguette with chicken, which she couldn't stop raving about.

We also shared a side of garlic and Marmite fries that were absolutely addictive. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection.

Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service we received. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. Well done, Ugly Mug, you've gained some new regulars!

Stopped in for a bite to eat and to do a bit of admin. Greeted by the staff and given the Breakfast and Lunch Menus. Had a bacon roll and a sprite, delivered to my table outside within 5-10 minutes. Sun was shining and the atmosphere was pleasant.
Thoroughly enjoyed the food and would definitely return when I'm in the area again.
