Ugthorpe Lodge was a lovely stay over. The hist bless her did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable going so far as putting a portable heater in the room for my partner. The room was spacious & very peaceful. The only gripe we have is some of the noise. Later at night there was the screech of a terrible grinding, which we assumed was barrels being pulled over the floor? We have no great complaints at all, other than the room we were in was a little prone to noise pollution, but still a lovely stay. We'd stay again in a different room.

I have a tourer caravan based here all year, and I can recommend the adjacent Lodge.
Peaceful location, on a bus route to Whitby or Guisborough. Buses are regular.

Stayed here for a long weekend as a tourer. The site is very well kept and the toilets/showers were excellent. The only reason for dropping a star is kids play facilities could be vastly improved, the play field is shared with sheep. If you don't have kids I would say perfect plus there is a pub onsite. The pub is not part of the campsite though. We did enquire about food at the pub and it seemed they didn't do food which seemed a little odd.

Our 3rd year on a seasonal pitch. Lovely quiet site. Dog friendly with nice walks from your doorstep. The hotel/pub on the site is really good with great hosts.

Recently bought a new static caravan on this site. Can't recommend it enough, a well run, well cared for site where you can kick back and completely relax, beautiful views, great pub and friendly people. If I could give 10 stars I would ✨️

Had a static caravan on this site since 2015 , lovely site, great location for North Yorkshire Moors & Whitby, very friendly with great people on site, great pub/hotel also on site with fantastic hosts and weekend entertainment

My wife and I have been going for years now we love it so much that we have a seasonal pitch. I've never met a person who is rude, noisy, or loud. There is great walks for dogs. And comes with its own lodge

what a well kept site shower /toilet block immaculate staff were amazing managing to get us on and save our bank holiday weekend great nights in the lodge sat and Sunday ery dog freindly will be returning very soon
