The hotel stay was pretty disappointing. The room itself was incredibly bland, lacking any personality or comfort. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and it felt like the room hadn’t been updated in years. Worse, there were no locks on the inside of the door, which made me feel uneasy about safety throughout my stay.

The bathroom was very small and had several spots of mold and mildew in the shower. The water pressure is below average and there was limited hot water.

As for the complimentary breakfast, it left a lot to be desired. The selection was very limited, and what was available wasn’t appetizing at all. For the price, I was expecting at least some basic standards to be met, but overall, this hotel missed the mark on several fronts. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re looking for comfort, good service, or peace of mind.

What a mixed bag.
Hotel decor is quite tired - really needs a refresh. Room was clean and had everything needed, though mattress was a bit soft for us and shower was hard to adjust.
Continental breakfast was dire, but our evening (Indian) meal was excellent.
We really enjoyed late afternoon drinks and poppadoms on the terrace overlooking the river.
The river view is the highlight of this hotel. It's inexpensive for the area and would be a real gem if the decor was refreshed and more attention was given to the breakfast.

It was a great place to go to sleep after 2 very long and tiring days and also to have a view over the Thames from the room gets you even more relaxed. The hotel is a bit vintage but it actually makes you feel in a rustic house which I love. I didn't came here to check the cracks in the walls or if the floors are squeaky so a TV and a bed it's all I'd need from a room I'd say. We've had a room with a king size bed for my wife and me and another small room with a sliding door between ours and theirs with 2 single beds for our kids... just great.

I liked it, generally speaking. Very quiet and nice area. It also has a car park for guests. All just in front of the Thames river. I'd say it is a 3 star rating hotel. Still missing a couple of things but at the same time it is still promising for the future.

On arrival of the hotel, we noticed the restaurant was closed for renovation, only to then find out the entire 1st floor was also under renovation.

We stayed in a suite 209/211. The room we stayed in had wallpaper peeling off the walls, carpet was dirty, bathroom had black mould on the tiles all around the shower, and the shower curtain was stained and disgusting A toilet bush was leaning up against the wall with no cover. Renovation work was ongoing until 8.30 pm, which kept my 5 year old away. We were then woken at 6am by people talking above the room. I understand the building was built in the late 1800s, but the siund was as though someone was shouting outside the door.

We attempted to use the Tv but the freesat box had no signal and was not a smart unit. The hotel smelt like a mix of building dust and curry.

The two members of staff i spoke to were polite, bedding was clean, and the carpark being included in the price are the only positives from this stay over

Stayed here for a full weekend for a family wedding in the area now I’m a person where I don’t care how a room looks long as the rooms are clean .

The more you look at things the more you notice how dirty the rooms actually are . Kettle full of limescale and of brown sludge like liquid on the sides . Flies absolutely everywhere , beds practically falling apart and room with broken mirrors .

£7 for breakfast you can’t complain if you was getting a cooked breakfast however £7 for some stale cereal, nuke warm tea/coffee and some bread to make simple toast with isn’t on and I don’t know why they think this is reasonable pricing for just that .

on the bright side no worries if you forgot your cigarettes cause the room in which they serve food in is filled with smoke so just simply walk in and you’ll get your nicotine hit .

Staff are exceptionally rude . The lady in reception charged us twice on checkin ( happened to other family also staying here ) then on check out tried charging us an extra £25 but couldn’t tell us what for . Also if you care about your details don’t stay here as they leave paperwork on the side on reception with your names etc for everyone to see which is a massive breach of data protection laws.

I get they’ve had some issues into which they are fixing and doing renovations however the state into which the rest of the hotel has been left is inexcusable. If your advertising a product then that’s the product you should be selling .

Only thing going for this place is it’s location . Right on the riverside and the bar staff were lovely .

I hope the manger and hotel staff realise that people are paying money to stay here . We don’t deserve to be spoken to like dirt or being scammed out of more money that you can’t even tell your customers what for .

The hotel is very easy to find and has a free adjoining car park , we were driving in and out of Windsor so this was a definite plus.|Receptionist ( sorry I didn't get your name ) was amazing , so helpful and friendly.|The room was large and had beautiful views of the Thames , we sat in the bay window and watched the boats and swans go up and down the river.|The bed was very comfy , the pillows were awful , the bedding was so clean and had a beautiful aroma.|The bathroom was equally large with a shower as well as the bath , piping hot water , toiletries , fluffy towels and an awesome view of the river.|We were on the third floor , there is no lift ( which we were aware of ) but the stairs are very , very steep , however the friendly receptionist offered assistance with our bags.|Our room had a great tea and coffee tray with water and a kettle , plenty of milk , fruit and biscuits!|It was a very hot day and we were very pleased to have a large fan.|The WIFI was super speedy.|For the money we paid it was exceptional value and we will be staying when we are back in Windsor.
