Just the perfect spot to stay versus crappy pubs and awful chain hotels/motels. Pricing is really fair and rooms/location could not be better. Great showers and very clean well appointed rooms.
Our host Glen was really accommodating. Homemade breakfast to order. Learnt how to make the perfect poached eggs.
Don't miss out on this lovely spot.

Absolutely fantastic place! Can't fault it, in anyway. Fresh home cooked breakfast with homemade fresh bread. Beautiful rooms one even has a bath! Lovely walls around the property. It's just a lovely place to stay!

I had a lovely stay at Upper Neatham Mill Farm. The room was clean and spacious with every comfort provided. Breakfast was delicious and cooked perfectly to order. It's a very scenic spot but also walkable to Alton. I will definitely be back!

What a wonderful place! The host came out to greet me and carried my bag to the room. He gave me the nickel tour of the place and offered suggestions for food in the area. The room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic, the best I've had in England. Oh, then there's the pond, the flowers, the lazy cats outside, as well as the goats, geese and sheep along the lane. Idyllic.

The room was warm and welcoming, and the bed was really comfortable. Shower was great. The host was very accomodating, really helpful, and welcoming as well. Above and beyond. Would definitely go back!! The surroundings were peaceful and 7mins drive from Jane Austen's house and Alton and Vgawton villages. Perfect.

Beautiful walking trails amongst woodland, orchards, wild roses and a host of animals. Perfect exploration space for both adults and children.

Note: temperature regulation not always consistent in the rooms, as with these beautiful older properties. The downstairs rooms are considerably cooler than the upstairs room - do chat with host, if you need a warm room on colder days/nights. 🎯

Room very clean. Well equipped and comfortable bed. Host very welcoming. Shower great- large shower head and nice warm temperature. Breakfast well cooked and an excellent quality. The dining room was very quaint with interesting photos and paintings. Parking fine. Grounds looked lovely but due to heavy rain did not venture out.

I work in UK as a live in carer (night shift) and because of the pandemic, my company decided to book me a room instead of staying at my client’s property.. I came on 29th of March and i am leaving on 31st of May... so, after two months of lodging i think that i am more than expert in reviewing Upper Neatham Mill Farm Guest House. I doubtless suggest it as a little paradise in Alton! Although the Guest House is close to the centre of the town, it is located in a land full of trees and flowers, very quiet, surrounded by a river..there are also two pathways and a farm just few meters far from the Guest House..what a great chance to get close to nature!!!!.. The rooms are very clean, comportable and tidy, the internet connection is excellent, the surrounding area is sooo beautiful. You can enjoy reading a book outside, sitting at Glen’s HANDMADE table!!! And talking about Glen, he and Teresa are the most amazing hosts. They are very discreet but always there in case you need something! They have such a positive energy! And i would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart because they turned my staying there into an amazing experience. Leaving for two months, during the pandemic, far from my family and my partner, looked like a nightmare at the begining. But they made me feel like home! So, they should also change the “Farm Guest House” into “Farm Guest HOME (..sweet home..)”.. it would be more clearly defined! The only disadvantage is that you will never want to leave the Guest House!!!
