Wow wow wow, we stayed in Cedar Lodge 9th-12th August and it was totally amazing. Firstly Ian and Debbie are fantastic hosts and really lovely people. The lodge is equipped with everything you could need. Flowers,apple juice,biscuits,tea,coffee (pods and ground coffee) all great touches that mean so much. Cedar has a beautiful South facing garden and a fantastic hot tub. This is THE place to go if you want to totally relax,chill out and recharge the batteries. It definitely won't be our last visit.

Our 2nd visit. Such a peaceful, tranquil place to stay. Everything immaculate and attention to detail outstanding, both inside lodges and the gardens. Ian and Debbie are great hosts. Cant wait to return, we still have another two lodges to try lol.

We have been coming to these lodges for many years and the the main attraction is ‘everything’. |The location is great for walks, maps provided. A short drive to numerous pretty villages, pubs and attractions. |The accommodation is perfect, clean, modern and it feels really special from the moment you arrive. Each lodge is private, with garden, decking area, sun beds, table,chairs and of course the hot tub.|The owners are available whenever needed but leave you to your own privacy.|We absolutely love coming to upthorpe.

At last we have found a perfect location for a peaceful and relaxing break for 2. Our lodge was completely secluded in its own lovely garden with a personal hot tub and sunbeds. The linterior was spotless,, modern and thoughtfully laid out, containing everything you could possible need. 5 star recommended!

We stayed at Cedar Lodge from 9th-12th August and it was amazing. Beautiful South facing garden with a fantastic hot tub. The lodge was equipped with everything you could need and was spotlessly clean. Ian and Debbie are great hosts and really lovely people. We went to totally relax and recharge our batteries so didn't do much sightseeing but we did visit Wyken vineyard and farmers market on Saturday which was well worth it. Welcome touches such as fresh flowers, biscuits, apple juice and coffee were a bonus. If you are looking for somewhere special then this is the place to go. We will definitely return

We stayed in Birch Lodge. It was beautiful and clean. Such a relaxing, peaceful place to stay. The hot tub was a real bonus. Ian and Debbie were very friendly and maintain the lodge and surrounding gardens to a very high standard. There is a pub and Co-op in walking distance. Lots of places to visit nearby. Highly recommend.

Ian and debbie are amazing hosts! We recently stayed in the cedar lodge for my birthday, they made our welcome personal with the birthday banner and balloons and little message on the welcome sheets. We high appreciate all there help and efforts they put in, you can tell each lodge is cared for with love. The lodge was well equipped with everything you could possible need plus more!. Hot tub was perfect and clean same as for the bbq, sun loungers, and rest of the lodge. We will definitely highly recommend and make a return visit in the future. Thank you!

A great place to stay and relax. Ideal location, very quiet and restful.
The lodges are ideally spaced apart and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, Debbie and Ian
