This place is a hidden gem. Giant portions of comfort food are what they do best. Everything tastes like it's made with that home-cooked goodness. Perfect for a satisfying, no-fuss meal. Plus, it won't break the bank.

Great place to get breakfast, lots of options and excellent value. It gets very busy which is a testament to how popular it is. Large portions of fresh cooked food. It's cash only but there's a cash machine in the spar shop next door so not terribly inconvenient if you don't have enough cash on you.

The staff are always friendly and attentive.
You can ask for takeaway too and they'll box your food for you and they do fresh coffee to go which is great if they're busy and you'd rather enjoy your lunch outside or down the beach just a short walk away.

I highly recommend. It's exactly as you'd expect from a classic greasy spoon cafe but with lots of options and huge portions and excellent coffee & smoothies too!

Is this the best cafe we’ve visited? Quite possibly… a huge varied menu, all the items we ordered were homemade and delicious and the portion sizes were huuuge! They welcomed us and our two dogs happily. The service was friendly, helpful and rapid, with our order arriving very quickly. The prices were very very good too, £50 for 4 of us including drinks.

Totally recommend. Very busy on a cold Saturday lunch time, shows that it’s good.
Cash only.
Service was hit and miss but very friendly when waved at. We saw people that came in after us get their breakfasts, pay and leave before we got our food. Waited 40 minutes for our food. We did tip because it was very busy and the food when received was very good.
We both had a breakfast with a mug of tea and two slices of toast and we paid £17.20 in total.
I will visit again.
Only negative -
When we advised that was no toilet roll in the men’s loo some bloke I can only assume the manager as not in uniform was very sharp and said I’m very busy at this stage the cafe was only half full nothing like it was when we arrived. The staff behind the counter working hard had a completely different response and said they would sort it. The ladies / disabled toilet was interesting for a disabled person. The loo roll holder was practically on the floor and the soap dispenser I had to reach for and I’m 5ft 10 and there was soap all dripping down the wall a child or someone in a wheelchair would have got no soap.

Had a very nice brunch here today. Good food with a great location. Very affordable. Would recommend a visit if you are in the area. Order was taken at the table, and the food arrived very quickly. More than I could eat in one sitting. Café seems popular.
