Not ‘luxury’ as described, not very clean and black mould all over the bathroom ceiling. It’s in a good location and the bed was relatively comfortable but I felt taken advantage of because there was very obvious black mould all over the bathroom which is a health risk and bad if you have allergies which I do. This was expensive for what it is and I wasn’t impressed or particularly relaxed.

Great location and easy to find, managed to get parking right outside. Instructions on access sent along with plenty of information. Spacious comfortable room, sherry was and added welcome touch. Very clean and comfortable, everything you may need was available

This worked well for us for 1 night stay for a wedding in Stow in the Wold. Very central location, with free nearby parking. Beautiful room. We were aware in advance that there was an exterior private bathroom (this was the last available room). It was a bit fiddly with key codes in the night but we managed fine. The room had character and we liked the touch of the welcome sherry and provision of fluffy robes. We did face onto the main road and the traffic does start early but overall happy with our choice and liked the central location for finding breakfast the next morning. Key code to enter the property was provided 24 hours in advance.

The location was strategic, near the Market Place. The perks were nice - a bathrobe, a pair of slippers, half a bottle of sherry.|The house is unmanned. No human touch.|The external bathroom was a nightmare. Had to walk out of your bedroom in the middle of the night, with a lot of stuff in your arms, down two high stairs, manoevre a number lock, everytime you want to use the toilet or get some water for your flask!|The worst about the bath was, there was only enough water for one person to bathe on the highest floor. Halfway through the bath, the second person has to scoop water from the sink to wash off the shampoo and bath gel from the body.|The pillows had no body and kept slipping off.|My conclusion is: This place is great in peripherals like sherry, etc.; terrible in essentials like bathroom and human touch.

Would advise staying at other hotels close by… We were sadly let down by no running water meaning we were unable to shower, clean teeth or even flush the toilet. There was also no wifi if you require this for work laptops. There was no help when we were there and no response to our 3 emails and phone call despite us being very friendly and fair on stating the issues.

Good location if you’re willing to risk no water or compensation.

We stayed in room 4. Smaller then it looks on the website but comfortable. Yes it is right by a busy road and quite noisy at times but that's not the fault of the hotel so can't really take off a star for that. Private bathroom across the hall very spacious with a fantastic shower. You do need to make sure door shuts properly though! Would stay again

Booked well in advance and we were informed by email that the 3 access codes would be sent 24 hours before arrival as these were required to access the front door, room and bathroom. This did not happen. I tried to contact the customer service desk number provided by the property to no avail. Thank goodness that Booking.com had a fantastic customer service and they provided the information needed. We were not the only people to have This problem as another couple were sat outside the front door when we returned on the second afternoon of our stay they were also tring to contact the property owners. The information given by the property also stated that you were required to hang a card on the door handle if you wanted the room made up, this was also ignored. This review is not all negative the property is very well situated and our Room was very nice, both comfortable and very clean, some very nice extras were provided as well. If these issues were addressed then the review would have been much better.

We booked room 1 and this was out first time booking a serviced apartment. On the whole it was a great location and the room had plenty of space. The TV coming out of the bottom of the bed is a great nifty idea, but if your elsewhere in the room i.e. sat in a chair, of course you can't see the TV.||||We hadn't realised that the bathroom didn't have a door, but an ill-fitting curtain, so this was a little disappointing for us as we prefer a solid door, but that's perhaps just us.||||The bed was comfy, and the room was surprisingly quiet at night, although we had a bit of an issue with other residents. As there is no owner or reception, other residents who didn't know how to get in, assumed we ran it being in the room on the ground floor, and we were frightened to death at a banging on the window to get our attention and to let them in the front door. It took a bit to explain we were only staying there too. It must have taken them a while to work out what to do as for the next couple of hours they were in and out of the front door and up and down the stairs, which was very noisy. So my advice would be, don't book room 1.
