Great food and service! Victoria and her team have catered for the parents at a couple of our children's birthday parties, providing yummy sausage rolls, brownies, etc. Victoria has also helped cater for a special birthday dinner at home with several guests who had dietary requirements. She made a beautiful vegan Wellington and delivered it ready to go in the oven. When it was mistakenly put into the freezer, she took time out of her busy weekend to come up with a solution which rescued the dinner!

Both requests were small orders, and yet I was still impressed with the service provided, which included lots of helpful advice, suggestions, and even a recipe on how to make vegan gravy at home. I look forward to working with Victoria again and highly recommend the food.

Victoria and her team were fantastic and we wanted to say thank you for looking after us and our guests on our special day in May 2023. Victoria was a great communicator throughout the whole process, which was very reassuring given that we had two caterers cancel on us; and we’re really pleased they did in the end because the menu we had from Victoria was excellent. We enjoyed our taster session and were able to change our mind if we wanted to. All our guests praised the food, which was fresh and hot on the day. We couldn’t recommend Victoria and her team more. Thanks once again.

We hired Victoria O'Brien Ltd for a wedding breakfast of 130 people. The quote was given for a wedding breakfast of sharing boards for 130 people with late night food of burgers and veggie curry and a deposit of 50% was required.
While the food was adequate, the service and running of the business was simply unprofessional.
We had various issues in the run up. Including not enough boards and it was suggested that we purchase them even though the company had agreed to this in the original booking sheet.
Then there were various financial issues, including asking for more money because of a "miscalculation" 2 days before the wedding.
On the day itself several items were either missing or not delivered as agreed and paid for. Here is a list:
1) whitebait and garlic prawns were supposed to be on every sharing board, not simply for pescatarians but they weren't.
2) sparkling water and rosè was not served or placed on the tables as discussed
3) candles were not lit by servers as discussed
4) there was no food for the relatives on the head table for quite some time
5) the wedding cake was not cut

All in all while the food was fine, it was not a professional service. Sharing boards involve little to no cooking. And the organisation side simply isn't there to cater for larger weddings. This was our one regret. I'm sure for smaller events the business would work well and some of the food was tasty.

Amazing!!! Highly recommend!
Victoria & team catered for our wedding last Saturday and were absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and all the guests commented on the wedding breakfast.
We had Victoria provide canapés to start whilst Victoria also served our welcome drinks. Cold Meats, Potatoes and a range of salads for main and sticky toffee or blackberry crumble for dessert.
The salads were incredible and far from boring. The sticky toffee pudding was the best I have ever tasted and several guests said the same!!
Nothing was to much trouble for Victoria throughout out the whole process of planning and on the day Victoria very kindly helped us finish decorating the cake by adding flowers and was also spotted going the extra mile, helping turning on candles on tables and around venue etc.
Thank you Victoria, you made our wedding the success it was! Will most definitely use you again in the future!!!

Wow!!

Victoria and her team did our wedding for us in September and what an incredible service they provided.

The food was delicious 🤤. Victoria provided arrival drinks, canapés, 2 course wedding breakfast, cheese board and teas & coffees.
Everyone complimented on how great the food was and how lovely Victoria and her team were.

It was a fantastic day and I would highly recommend to anyone you are the best!

Victoria and her team were so professional and co-ordinated our wedding day so seamlessly.

The food was amazing, with many people claiming your sticky toffee pudding is the best they have ever had.... and I agree!!
We are so pleased that we chose Victoria for our wedding - from the off she provided recommendations and helped us plan the day through to the canapes, wedding breakfast, evening buffet and great service, she made our day a success.

We’re so happy we chose Victoria to cater our wedding this May.
She and her fantastic team delivered an absolutely amazing 3 course meal that wowed us all.
Not a guest was left hungry and so many told us that the dishes were better than they’d had in any restaurant. The team were friendly and efficient, it was all wonderfully timed and made our special day stand out. We now regret not having her supply the evening buffet too!
